I recommend you try adding a microphone test which simulates someone talking beside you. It's different to a blender. I just performed the test with both headsets. The jabra was horrible I could hear the podcast playing from the speaker next to me. Even the cheap £40 jlab go work beat it significantly. The poly 4320 was no.1 as I was not able to perceive the podcast.

One idea for better comparing could be switch between both headsets while in same condition. Example: While listening same music/talking same things with same background noise, let us listen jabra for 3 sec, then poly for 3 sec, then switch 2 or 3 more of times. So we can immediately capture the difference. Maybe just position both devices around same sound source and switch the input output to do this.

We use Jabra in our company ~ 20000 Headsets. My experience is that Jabra is broken after max. 1-2 years. They have often bluetooth issues. Poly is more stable, no issues meanwhile.

@@HeadsetAdvisor Bluetooth goes on and off randomly. One ear cup partially stops responding. You often have to turn the headset on and off, otherwise it sometimes stops responding. Since we use it daily in support or with clients, the battery is completely flat after 2 max 3 years. Its also annoying that windows or teams thinks that you have a different hesdset wireless or wired very strange issue.

Hi Kamariza, we haven't tried this so I'm not sure if that will work or not, as it's not designed to connect this way. It may be worth a try though if you're set on connecting with the aux cord to your laptop. Usually USB will give you better quality.

If I'm in extemely noisy environment, I would pick the Poly 4320. Mic cancels noise the most. On environment with "average" noise I would pick the Jabra 65. The voice is much fuller than Poly. Battery life is much longer. But for my personal case, I'm more on the extreme environment noise side 30% of the time, I would pick Poly to be on the safe side.

Ok I watched so many videos and now I don’t know what to order. I’m sharing an office with 3 people and when they are on the phone I have a really hard time focusing on the phone call I’m. I have a Mac and an iPhone. I was looking both these headphones and also the Orosound Tilde Pro Hybrid and IMPACT 1000 . I’ll be wearing the headphones for 4 to 6 hours what do you recommend?

I’d recommend something that goes fully over the ear to block out as much noise/distractions for you so the Orosound tilde pro C+ will be your best bet.

I’m just now seeing this video, but I’ve got some Poly 4320 inbound for the team. The price and feature set seems to be much better than Jabra.. Paid real world $180 for full kit with stand and everything for each Poly unit. Jabra is considerably more expensive. A small audio difference is not worth a big jump in price per unit to me. I will also say we used Jabra in the past, diff model, and they only seem to last a couple years at best, when used often.

Jabra e265 has been my workhorse for about 3 years now. Great mic, natural sound. Solid noise cancelling mic. Tried the 4320 this week and besides the mic quality being a bit too walkie talkie-ish , the noise cancelling is great ( a bit better than the Jabra) but the dongle doesn't stay connected well to the PC. Additionally the Jabra just has better call and media controls

For the Jabra Evolve2 65, how does the audio quality compare between using the bluetooth wireless, non-bluetooth wireless USB-A dongle, and non-bluetooth wireless USB-C dongle? Does the Poly Voyager 4320 have non-bluetooth wireless connectivity?
@HeadsetAdvisor3 жыл бұрын
Hi Andy, you won't notice any difference in quality between USB-A and USB-C. They only created the variations for ease of connectivity reasons. The 4320 can be connect with a cord to be used as a wired headset as well, like the Evolve2 65.

I love your videos, but they are also super frustrating! Why? Because we want to hear which headset is better in the microphone tests, but you never let us hear them back to back, so it’s up to us to shuffle back and forth, write down the time stamp and try to make them back to back. If you want to stick to your current format, why don’t you edit them back to back at the end of the video! Thanks.

That's some tough love, Naisan! 😄 We really do appreicate the feedback and keeping it real though because that will help us improve. Nice video - very professional - new camera / lights in close up shots are way better and background color is smooth and nice. - Suggested improvements to the review (to plug a few gaps in true end user value to us viewers): - 1) Can we have a zoom / teams recording through these and have that sound played back please ( for all scenarios of noise levels)? This is because final sound which people on the other side would hear would also include the Zoom /Teams / Cisco software impact noise cancellation. Also a sample of a real regular phone call and whatsapp call would help cover all scenarios and differences. - 2) Please include typing noise test too - in a very quite environment typing sounds can be an outlier / spike of sound - which could come through. - 3) Could you please help with doing all noise cancellation tests with source of noise on both sides (together and alternating) . Currently all your noise sources (blender / speaker) are on your right - which is the Opposite side of the Voice capturing Microphone of the boom on the headphones. This gives undue advantage and skews real world test result. Note: For an end user - it is not possible / realistic that they always have the noise coming from a single direction. - 4) Finally, how easy is it to switch from a computer call to a phone call and back? - considering the headphone is paired to both. If I get a phone call and want to switch to it on the fly but through a button (to avoid cases of unwanted switching) is that possible? If not, by the time I switch from computer to a phone call or vice versa - the incoming phone call would have ended or I would be fumbling to quickly change settings etc etc. - I have liked your video and am already a subscriber - I will Respond to the true test, as suggested above - through Zoom and Team with and without noise. With current tests - Jabra is much better, although the with noise in background both sound similar as the electronics are managing so much bk ground noise that even the jabra might be sending low fidelity sound though its voice capture mic on the boom (facing the wearer).

Sorry to hear the headset falls off your head. Comfortable is a very subjective topic because everyones needs are so different. Have you tried other headsets worn over-the-head that don't fall off? I just want to point out that I don't believe "battery life" is actually rated higher on the Jabra. Although it's 37 hours "of use", it's only 24 hours of talk time which is just about equivalent to the 4320.
