Hi David, re poly voyager focus 2 , don't know why poly need 2 variants and don't just allow users to customise for teams or UC via their app - think there missing a trick

Hey Paul, that would be great for anyone whose able to download software on their computers. Many companies restrict employees from downloading any software, so this is where the Teams version comes in if software can’t be downloaded.

Sadly my Poly Blackwire 8225 has had nothing but issues with Zoom. “Failed to detect your microphone and speakers” on each new zoom meeting.

Hi Tony, can you watch the video at the link below and see if this helps resolve the issue? kzbin.info/www/bejne/hWmlh6Numq15lc0

@Headset Advisor Quick-ish question... The company I work for/with cannot always guarantee that the computer we connect a wireless headset to will allow connecting a bluetooth device. There is an IT block on that sort of thing. I know that 2.4 ghz wireless headsets are not a problem because they connect directly to the dongle and it is recognized the same as if it were a USB headset. That being said..... Is there a wireless Poly product that we can connect that Windows recognizes as a USB audio device versus being recognized as a Bluetooth device? There are IT/Security restrictions that do not alllow us to connect something that Windows recognizes as a "Bluetooth Adapter," Also, ther cannot be a need to install any manufacturer software to function. I currently have a Poly (Plantronics) wired headset, but I want wireless for all of us. Don't want to pull the trigger on 100 devices that will not workt within those paramaters. Any assistance or advise is greatly appreciated.

The Poly headsets in this list will be recognized as a USB audio device and from there the headset connects to the Dongle via Bluetooth. Similar to how you’d connect a wireless mouse to your computer. If you’re in the US or Canada and want to narrow down a couple best options or you need a quote, feel free to contact us.

Hi Jerry, we're not seeing anything to show this is compatible with Ubuntu, and we haven't personally tested it. That being said, the model at the link below is showing it is compatible with Ubuntu. kzbin.info/www/bejne/jXy3kHltarmnecU

Wired headsets will always have better sound… but I’d say the Poly 4320 had the best overall wireless microphone performance. I attribute it to the longer mic and better placement for blocking out background noise… yet still giving you a clear speaking voice. The Focus 2 (while better looking and better built) seemed like the microphone was missing that clear bass response and the software was over compensating causing too much compression artifacts. I’m looking at the 4320 with the Office base for desk phone compatibility. I do wish it was DECT like the 8220 office for more stable connections and range. But for the money Poly headsets are built the best… unfortunately HP has no one working in their software department because I think they could squeeze more sound quality out of the Focus 2 mic
