I saw a 323 the other day at Edge Hill with passengers on so I presume they must be doing the odd Crewe-Liverpool service, especially since drivers at Allerton Depot were meant to have been trained for them recently as well

Funny that, my train into Piccadilly yesterday was a 323 and it was going to Liverpool! So, basically, I was completely wrong about the 323s...

David Frankal I’ve heard rumours (although nothing has been confirmed) that Northern may instead replace their 319s with 323s from West Midlands Railway which would be great, but I doubt it’s happening at the moment

323-227 231 234 all have been doing Liverpool to Warrington Bank Quey services with some Manchester Picadilly runs too
