It's also adolescent thinking as we encounter different new situations and use black and white thinking to negotiate our way through and in our late teens to our twenties we start to think more in shades of grey.

Sometimes we do. Its not all of our fault. Others can make us feel this way. That is why we need to walk away from toxic people.

Yes I have also noticed this with children. How assertive they really can be. One day God will explain to me where I messed up. And who hurt me and mislead me. And why i have made the bad desertions I have made. Maybe I can be restored and given back the things and life I have missed out on.
