Just looking at the number of plays a typical Healing Frequency video gets, I'd say they're in high demand and highly appreciated. So in this video I wanted to share some tips and tools so you can make your own scales and tunings, and maybe turn your modular into a spa/wellness center to make people feel good. And I have to admit, fooling around with these Solfeggio frequencies has been super relaxing! But I bet it's more about working with a modular system!

Yes, one of my schoolmates was talking about it, so I did some research. It seems to be backed up by neural scientists. Who knows :). But I love the sounds, regardless.

Thanks! Infortunately there are many scientists out their who claim it's bullshit but it seems that 40Hz can slow down Altzheimer (MIT). Personally, I like music and it was a great opportunity to step out of the western scale and discover amazing new textures that should sound terrible but they don''t.

This is awesome. I've been trying to find a way to generate precise Solfeggio frequencies. To pitch shift western scale notes you actually need a pitch shifter that will work in fractions of cents. eg playing an F note detuned by 6 cents gives 174.1 hz. Apparently Sound Forge will do this but they stopped producing it for the Mac. Then I watched your video and found out my Mordax Data generates precise frequencies - thank you!

Hello interesting study I have 2 questions :you use always saw for both frequencies independently wich ones they are ,and notes in the mordax Or? And some lfo + filter ?to open and close the final recording of each frequency or just the attack and release in bitbox? Thanks in advance I want go deeper on this cheers 🍻

Hey I have a berhinger system 100.How would I go about playing healing frequencies on it? Also they say all modern music is tuned to 440hz but it's meant to be more harmonious for life at 432Hz.Does this mean the system 100 and all synths etc would be tunes at 440Hz.Sorry I'm still really new to this modular stuff and don't quite get music theory like this but it would be great to play some healing frequencies real loud out my speakers at home 😄 How Would I know a frequency coming from the modular or a chord is 963Hz for example.Can all different chords play the same frequency or how does it work.I guess I just have to keep a single tone for it to be a healing frequency?But how can it be musical then if that's so 😅 sorry just a bit confused but really hope you can explain it better and send me on the right track.Thanks.Also have you heard of Doctor Royal Rife?

Hi, I know it's a bit confusing. The 440 Hz standard is mainly used to make it easy to let musicians perform together. Verdi used 432 Hz for concert pitch but I don't know why. There have been many different standards over the ages. I have no idea if these healing frequencies actually work, but when the mind truly believes it, the body may follow. There is scientific research about 40 Hz and the positive effect on Alzheimer. It seems to slow down the process. I found working with these sounds really pleasing and fun. Solfeggio frequencies are all related. When you look at 174 hz, the next is 285. You'll notice all numbers go +1, so the next frequency is 396 followed by 417. Here the 9 turns into a 1, because 9 is the highest number. Next, there's 528, 639, 741 (nine flips again), 852 and 963. So there's a cool relationship but it's not that obvious. It's also clear that 432 doesn't add up as a base tone, so that may be part of a different 'belief'. A frequency can only play one tone, e.g. 963 Hz. When working on a modular you can set your VCO to any frequency, but you'd need a device to make sure it's exactly 963 Hz (or as close as possible). This is why I used the Mordax Data. It can set an exact frequency and keep it stable. You could also use a guitar tuner or scope VST that can display frequency. This frequency can be your base note to make normal chords and it will sound like regular music. You can still use any scale (major, minor, etc). I hope this helps!

Ive been researching healing sounds and trying to get to the bottom if it. There's a lotv of information. I dontknow how to get around the subjectivity of it. You make a good video here. Thank you. And i think you're right... these are subjective tones. I understand solfeggio ti be based of numerology and not pythagorean octave. Only numerology. But the "music" is based on relationships between notes. That's Pythagoras. So if we take each as a base note, then we could make music to that based on ratios to that single base but not in relationship to the other solfeghios. I think in the ennegram it shows this... 3,6,9 not related to the other notes except 9 is do. They are only related at 9... which is base note. From there a harmonic can develope but is not related to 3,6 masculine and feminine for example. Id love to learn more about what you're doing here if you're interested in having a chat? And any thoughts you have. I think attention and intention are most important.

Thanks for your comment and interest. The fun thing about numbers is they can be understood by any form of intelligence, either domestic or alien. If you make a grid of 3x3 stones, there will be different words for the numbers, but the meaning is universal. It's funny that these 9 frequencies have 369, 639 and 963 in them. Regardless of healing powers, it's cool. I recently discovered they are notes by themselves, not just base tones, and they combine very well. If you use them as base notes for just intonation, the magic is gone. Here's a video where I am using it. kzbin.info/www/bejne/hKbGZo2cpNx7nKM

@@CinematicLaboratory what do you mean by "they are notes by themselves"? For me the word "note" implies relationship to other notes. The the video you sent on the solfeggio section it doesn't sound bad, if that's what you mean?... it doesn't sound dissonant that is... but what of dissonance, that can be music too or part of it. so I guess they are not related other than by numerology? I also listened to another channel where he just played the related frequencies and they go together ok, they don't sound bad to my ear... kzbin.info/www/bejne/sJXQY3prmp1jqsUsi=0hd-hJYWquFrPsTb The healing part is what I'm interested in. is the magic in the relationship or the tone? idk. The tone must have some harmonic affect in us, in cells or cells of certain types maybe... but so many variables, location, intensity, exactitude, interference... etc. I'm imagining one of those cymatic chladni plates... where each cell has different harmonics within us... so it's about finding resonance or dissonance with those... but even then what would that do? Or is it really just about listening with attention and intention? you have a hell of a set up there. What would you call it that you do? mixing? or does it have a name?

Would I need the bitbox and the mordax date oscilloscope or could I do it on just one? Like what does the bitbox do does that change the frequency of any oscillator just with that touchscreen button. Or is that actually producing sound? Or is it transforming sound from an oscillator on the oscilloscope or how is it all working. What is the need for the oscilloscope? Could you use any oscillator or is the oscilloscope key in doing this I'm just not understanding the video fully. I have the behringer system 100 oscillator. With that dial would it not be hard to twist it and get the exact frequency for instance I image il twist it and it'd keep going to 429 instead of 432? Would it have to be dialled in with something to get the frequency exact to the point 00000 (.00000) for example something like the bitbox would diall it in I assume? So assuming I now know how to get the exact frequency I need and what modules I need?Is there anything else I'd need or need to know? I seen you said at the start it is tuned to 440hz? What is tuned to 440Hz the vco or what do you tune? How do you tune a VCO if that's what it is? Also if 432Hz is meant to be much more harmonious how can you tune a VCO to that?Assuming it is the VCO that gets tuned. Also why does tuning matter if the frequency you are going to could be 432hz or 369Hz etc? Is that not tuning? That part I really don't understand for example healing videos on the internet that say it's 369Hz how is it that would it not be in 440Hz if that is the base of the tuning?Or how do they get these frequencies? And also the way there is loads of instruments in these healing videos.How would the video be 369hz?Is there one instrument vibrating that time and the rest is just filler in any frequencies to make it easy to listen to or is every instrument playing 369hz? Also how is it out of key even though you have them instruments? Does that mean it won't be able to utilize them healing frequencies? I really hope you can help explain these questions 🙏🙏 I'm free for a call either if so or a reply here is perfect either,I wrote to you off my Instagram @pandamanmusic Thanks Stephen

I've also got a Behringer Brains coming from thomann and it says oscilloscope in the features.Would that be of use or it wouldn't tell the frequency?It would just show the shape I'm guessing or would you know?
@CinematicLaboratory

I use mordax data to set an EXACT frequency, even featuring numbers after the decimal point. But that's just a raw oscillator. You could also use any oscillator and an external (guitar) tuner that can be set to a root note/frequency. But they may lack the precision you'd need. I use bitbox to record that frequency after spicing it up with FX and add a certain musical quality to it. So bitbox is 'only' used to make music with those frequencies. Brains can show the waveform, but I don't think it can display the frequency. I think TipTop audio has an oscillator that can be set to a specific frequency too.

@@CinematicLaboratory hey just replying again.So I won't need bitbox will I?I can make the healing frequencies in my room by playing the notes/chords on for example my beatstep pro and having an oscillator tuned to 432hz with the mordax data?So if the mordax data is wired up to the oscillator the sound coming out will be tuned at 432hz and not 440hz.Then I can add my effects etc or record into a dae, octatrack etc?

@@fahey900 The Mordax Data has two VCO's on board with simple waveforms. The point is that you can use it to finetune the exact frequencies to the cent. I used bitbox (or any sampler) to record these exact frequencies. Then, when you use a keyboard you can play in the key of 172 Hz or any solfeggio frequency. Or stack them up by playing many samples at once. With a VCO tuned by Mordax you can do the same thing and maybe get better sounds from your VCO.

It's the best oscilloscope ever, but I don't think somebody ever made a patch with the built in elemental waveform generators (sine, saw, pulse and triangle) that will never go out of tune. Great source for two superprecise/clean sinewaves and they accept CV for pitch so I bet you can crosspatch FM too.
