By the way you can annex Egypt way quicker by not accepting the event for their surrender and instead just peacing them out manually, a few years after you've puppeted them you should get an event where you annex Egypt. Edit: spelling

Your mistake was accepting the Egyptian Surrender event. If you say no peace, and fight to 100 war score, you can actually annex Egypt outright only a few years later.

How do you guys get to play this mod with good performance? I've been losing my mind with how frequently it crashes and how slow everything moves. One of the popups when you begin says there's a fix by changing a txt file, does anybody know if that works? Does changing my fps to something lower help with anything? Hey, Strategy Games Turkoman, just heads up about the mechanics of HPM and GFM, at the end of Oriental crisis, don't accept Egyptian surrenders. just go all the way through and propose peace instead. You'll get an option to annex your Egyptian satellite later. If you're playing as Asia or East/South Europe, conquer Japan immediately WHILE America trying to establish Japan at sphere so they won't form great power. And then take West Coast of USA while they are at civil war. Californian gold rush will boost your economy. I managed to get Ottoman Kyushu all the way to Hokkaido, also Ottoman California this way (also Mughal Oregon in other games lmao). If you're playing West Europe/West Africa nation, conquer East Coast instead. Losing West coast will have USA limping, but they still could fight. Losing East Coast will cap 'em the whole game(you don't have to worry about them anymore). BONUS if you could take Italy before they formed. There are other strats like golden mines in Kunming, Yunan, but that requires luck and long term planning.
