I think the RGO's of the Tukulor Empire are rather buggy or something 'cus i think they take way too long to pop up, they should appear as a decision the moment you westernize for some money. Anyways, good video as always! Keep up the good work and i hope you doing good. As always is very fun to watch your content! Edit: I think now it is patched, around 1850~ when you research I think "Investment banks" of something, the RGO events pop up. I must be cause that's the tech you need as a non african nation for the "African farm and mines" decition. Or maybe it always has been that way and we both did not have that tech in our playthrought, but idk

I'm not sure what mod you're using, but I'm pretty sure that the RGO events you mentioned only fire if you're a European power. (Edit: Watched the rest of the video. Don't know why they turned up when they did... maybe some sort of cleanup event fired them since land changed in Africa.) Funnily enough, Wattara can do basically the same thing as Sokoto - in GFM, at least, it gets most West African cultures west of the Sokoto Caliphate as accepted when it forms Tukolor (the exceptions being Wolof, Maures, Gur, and Mossi) which also means that you can get Sierra Leone and Ghana as full-accepted states. And Ghana is a really, really good state even before it gets the gold mine.

This is GFM? ...Okay, my comment is as of _mid-2022 GFM._ I take it that some parts of Africa have been updated since then. As of said mid-2022 GFM (more specifically, I downloaded the copy that I'm working off of in may 2022), TOU can be formed by nearly every Muslim state in West Africa - Massina, Futa Tooro, Futa Jallon, Wattara, Wolof, Dendi, Damagram, and Sokoto - so long as they have the required provinces.

Sokoto "forming" the Tukulor empire is completely ahistorical amd kinda hilariously dumb. They were two different countries in two different places that existed for the same time. Literally no connection aside from being Muslim states in Africa formed by jihad.
