残暑が10月まで続きうんざりしていましたが、昨日今日と肌寒いくらいですね。お体の方 案じています。早くお元気になられますように！ 赤とんぼに秋の風情を感じます。南瓜がとても大胆な描き方で引き込まれました。光と影が素晴らしい‼️左側に濃ゆい赤茶を置かれた時は、ウーンー🤔と不思議な気分で眺めていましたが何とも言えないコントラスト。さすが先生の絵は凄いです。 又 台風19号が近づいています。被害が出ませんように。

Maybe instead of doing finished pieces, spend some time with quick sketches and just experiment with color? Like, nothing to fancy, but something to raise your confidence. Or, you could see a video like this and replicate it. Since he used so many colors, you would have to do it too

from technical perspective : 1) don't mix color that is too far from each other on the color wheel. (learn more about color theory). 2) mixing warm color with warm color, or cool with cool might help from material perspective : try to purchase watercolor with single pigment. trust me on this one, i've struggled with multi-pigment watercolor, and it's always a hassle trying to prevent muddying when i mix it with other color.

Pay close attention: See how his brush strokes are not immediate, and have a bit of delay between them? That is to allow each color to dry enough so when the next stroke is made it keeps it from mixing, being damp rather than wet Also getting a thicker type of paper and not that much water might be useful Hope this helps!

Your energy and wisdom oozes out of every stroke that you do. It looks so "slap-dash" and done without thought, but every line, every movement is carefully taken, every brush stroke a precise and exactly placed idea. If I practiced for the next 30 years, I might end up to be half as good as you, and I would be happy with that.
