I’m one of those guys who tried everything for my lower back pain and settled for spinal fusion with a renown back surgeon. Four years post op and I’m worse off than before the procedure, even with the hardware removed. Epidural injections didn’t work either but I feel optimistic after my trial injection of Botox for pain management.

I now havee spondyloloptosis. I decided not to do fusion,back when I was a grade 2 spondy. My second husband,left me for someone else. I am proud of you and originally,from Philly area. My issue,is structural and that is the only reason,one should consider surgery. To each their own tho

I've received my fusion in 2019, it's been five years of up and downs and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone, there always better ways it's just a temporary fix. Having said that I'm living my life pretty comfortably doing the thing I've always done, beach volley, trekking, training, I've got no problems, if I push too much I'll have a few pains for a week or so and then I'm fine. I'm treating my body so much better after the surgery, in that regard I can say that it was a blessing. Hope you find relief and get back to a "normal" life, if we can call this kind of fused life normal.

had grade 0 to 1 spondy, dic said I was unstable and if I didnt want permanent nerve pain (that I wasnt having then), just constant groin and back pain, the. I will need to get this done. He also told me he has helped nfl players and such and that this would make me much better so that I can be pain free and still be an icu nurse. Well the fusion made me much worst, just like you my girlfriend of 4 years left me at 6 months recovering, my pain was never better, now I have new nerve pain that wasn't there before. I had to quit the bedside, doing a job that I hate now for much less money, tried to stay in somewhat shape, now I'm starting to have even more nerve pain down both legs randomly, feels like something is constantly poking my back. Having a spinal fusion was the worst decision of my life, at least you have sons. I'm 37 with no support and no family, honestly not sure how much longer I can even hold out. Thanks for letting me rant, my life was ruined as soon as I went under the knife and my surgeon has nothing for me but a spinal cord stimulator.

Is love to buddy! Have you caught my video on my resistance band routine? I do that on days I can’t make it to the gym. But yes, I’m on my HRT plus! I take Test and Deca weekly, and am entirely transparent about my use of everything. I will also utilize everything else I can including Primo and Mast, Anavar, and even occasionally very low doses (100mg/ week) of Tren. I use anabolics as they were designed for healing and mobility, and they truly work wonders. Ask anything you need brother!

I empathize with you. I had much anxiety and hated to have my spinal fusion, L4L5. I had severe stenosis from a fracture. My fusion was not elective, it was necessary to avoid certain complications. A surgeon wanted to operate ASAP. I felt uncomfortable with him and went else where. I chose a hospital that is highly ranked, with low complication rate, and low infection rates. I experienced little pain after surgery. I did not need any therapy. Within weeks I enjoyed walking a good deal. Once cleared to do so I I rode a bike long distance, went to the gym for workouts, even ran a bit. Worked out so great. Then I drywalled the ceilings in my house and now I have pain elsewhere. When you have it done, (if you do), treat yourself well, do stretches or exercises that will benefit you in the long run, and enjoy.
@healing2gether

@@Thehigher13 definitely a last resort, my friend, but if you are in need of it, just go into it with faith and understand whatever the outcome is because it was necessary. But if you can change certain things about your life to avoid it, I strongly suggested.

Hi brother I've seen some of your videos and I hope that all of your problems go away. I'm sorry about all of your injuries. I had a question.. have you ever looked into the spinal cord stimulator or intrathecal pain pump I think that they have the ability to take away a lot of the pain that you're having. For the pain pump I know you don't like opioids but if you don't know much about it definitely do some digging on it. it's a much better way to take medication for pain it's more targeted. As for the spinal cord stimulator they've had a lot of advances lately might be worth it to check it out. Have a good day!
