Used to take benzo’s a lot. Got off a multi year daily 40 mg diazepam addiction in about 4 months. It was hard times, mostly as I was doing it under pressure (had to clear a drug test within set time frame plus was in very demanding job requiring me to be social and hard working). For any benzo you are addicted to, first switch to using a corresponding dosage of DIAZEPAM only, for the long half life it gives steady blood levels and hence steady state of mind. You can’t taper off of short acting benzo’s, you will get mood swings and in panic double dose etc, it’s sloppy. Only drop your dosage once every 7 or if you have time 14 days (it takes about 5 days for the effects of the dose drop to be noticeable). Take your daily dose before bedtime to get some sleep. For me tapering from 40 to 35 to 30 to 25 to 20 all was pretty easy. It started getting harder from 20 to 10. Weird body aches, lots of urge to take a piss without having to piss. Just random tingling feelings in the body. Took steps of 2.5 mg drop in that range. Under the 10 mg is where it gets hard; anxiety will take over your life and it’s soul crushing. Social anxiety was through the roof. Maintaining my job was a challenge. This is where I started taking phenibut, a gaba recepter antagonist that will offset the anxiety effects significantly. Dosing maybe a gram a day but moving ul to 4-5 grams daily fast. As long as the benzo taper was continuingI was willing to take the risk. The relief from anxiety is so good and it also gets you to have some sleep. Now when you reach 2,5 mg of diazepam daily, some maybe at 5 mg, it gets freakishly hard. You start to feel naked. So insecure. Drained from lack of sleep. The solution is than taking a low dose (3.75 to 7.5 mg) of the antidepressant Mirtazipine. This stuff will get you to make that final step and go from 2.5 maybe 1 mg to no more benzo. And that moment is rather magical. Like you’ve been watching a black and white TV for years and all of the sudden someone puts it on colour. Very emotional for me, inspiring. Quit the phenibut 2 weeks after the last diazepam dose, perhaps if you were taking like 5 grams do a taper in a week. And 2 weeks later, after about 4-12 weeks of being on the mirtazipine, you can quit that basically cold turkey. That’s it. I thought it was a struggle the benzo withdrawel, but at that phase in my life a was very ambitious and all around hapoy with life and who I was as a person, no other serious mental problems, which makes it less of a struggle. There must be many supplements like NAC, fishoil, high doses magnesium, perhaps antihistamines that could also help. Good luck.

Ok so I'm doing the taper rn. I honestly don't know how much I was taking. But I went through it like a mad man. I never measured. I just poured that powder right in my mouth. So bad that it stained my teeth. Been on it for four years. It is such a strange substance. I really feel it's great for pain. But the kicker is we don't want any pain or as little as possible. So we just keep ourselves chained to this stuff. I recently wanted to go to Wisconsin for a concert. Wisconsin has tough Kratom laws. I was pissed for about an hour. Then I realized this shit is limiting my life so much. How many reading this rn thinks "I am about ready to go somewhere I need to dose myself, or I can't go there cause I can't take my kratom." Stuff like that. Recently I flew and that was anxiety inducing just for the fact I was terrified about how much Kratom I should take. Like half my carry on was full of the stuff. I felt like a drug smuggler or something. I'm just a person who was in pain. And now the pain is so much more intense with the withdrawals. But I'm on Day 5. Keep a journal! Make the process of dosing as unfun as possible. Write your dose down. Maybe how you feel. Bureaucrat red tape the shit out of when you dose. Make it a hassle. Because you know why this stuff has made plenty of peoples lives a hassle. I am for the kratom plant. And there are many who treat it like a common pain killer and used sparingly. Which is great. Then you get miserable bastards like me who cant even function unless they had 3 heaping spoonful's of the stuff in the morning. Also isn't it great waking up in the morning feeling like shit? Another reason to get off of it. I wish those suffering well and I hope for the best for all of you. I am optimistic I can rid myself of this stuff. God Bless and Take Care!

💯 second that the withdrawal is fucking worse than narcotics and benzos for me. Heard just taking the tabs alone cause the more severe withdrawal. Read that users who combine kratom and 7OH have milder withdrawal. What I went thru was fent withdrawn. Definitely subscribing. This is very crazy to me. Used Kratom for so long. The 7OH forsure need to be looked into. More importantly the company’s. There must be other shit in the tabs.

How’s 7OH relative to OPMS Black shots?
@healing2gether
@healing2gether 5 күн бұрын
Very different my fried., OPMS is kratom extract (Mitragynine) whereas 7OH is not present in the kratom leaf itself and only comes by way of the degradation of the shredded leaf over time, as well as once the Mitragynine is metabolized in the body. 7OH is very dangerous by way of acting more like a traditional full agonist opioid whereas KRATOM in its natural form is strictly a partial opioid agonist and is very pure and doesn’t pound on the opioid receptors the way 7OH will
