Tracy it would be great if you can comment on results you're seeing with people at the hospital three months after the fact. This is new to me and of course with any practice the effectiveness would be seen after it's practiced for a time so I am really interested in how it's going at the hospital.

I am curious to know if there are any practitioners who are also massage therapist/bodyworkers. While I understand there is a neurological basis for this work and it's about working with that logic, and of course bodywork is focused on the body, it seems to me this knowledge combined with an attuned sense of touch by a practitioner who is experienced and trusted in that regard can be very powerful.

Hello Mark, I recommend visiting Havening.org and looking at the Certified Practitioner list. You will find a global network of practitioners who have a variety of different expertises. I'm wishing you all the best on your healing journey!

@@DrKateTruitt Thank you, I understand it is a new modality so I hope to see more practitioners in time and the cross fertilization in people who are skilled in multiple techniques.

Thank you. I have severe health anxiety related to developmental trauma. I will start this daily. Do you find in the beginning the thoughts come right back? Does it just take practice?
@DrKateTruitt2 жыл бұрын
The thoughts can certainly return initially. The more we practice the more the thoughts will soften and I also recommend doing the Creating Possibilities Protocol to build intentional resilience : kzbin.info/www/bejne/pWa6gYGra9ubrLc

it makes sense but it is too hard to do when it is actually happening

ah, yes. So true. The more you practice the more muscle memory you will build for making it a "go to" when anxious. Our anxious brain, counterintuitively, loves to stay anxious!

You’re not alone with this Cerys. Health anxiety is so real! The CPR for the Amygdala exercise is really helpful for these triggers. Here’s a video with a more in-depth explanation: kzbin.info/www/bejne/fp6okml-bNl3psk
