@@hypervansehealth’s lyrics are extremely varied but all have dark themes. they talk about dystopias, drug abuse, war, toxic relationships and more. but there’s so many lyrical themes they cover that it’s quite difficult to keep track of.

HEALTH truly became masters of their genre. This set so tight and flawless. The clarity of sound is such high level, that every noise and nerve intended comes through like butter. Every alteration is carefully and emotionally noticed. It really is amazing to see them grow so much into their potential. And what a powerful message behind those meticulously placed words, coming out of an almost child-like voice, a hurricane really, that can split atoms.

correct me if i’m wrong but I believe that 80 percent of this “live” sound is just playback
@MajoringInCrimes Жыл бұрын
@@44gg37it isn’t. i can speak from experience from seeing them live, in fact, seeing them in person showed me that their music uses a lot more actual instruments than you’d think. it’s only for tracks like salvia, die slow etc where it’s a lot of playback. but they also utilise a lot of improv which can be heard in this video, especially jake.

Saw them live at Roskilde festival 2010 when they were primarily a noise band. Absolutely loved their first two albums when I was younger and angrier. As I've grown older, so has this band, and their sound has evolved in a way to shift from anger and organized chaos to pure drug-induced melancholy disco. It's an amazing band and I can't wait to see them in Copenhagen later this year.
