Hi Greg, your channel is so informative and interesting. You are so good at explaining concepts in a simple way! After watching this video and the one on health economics, I'm trying to understand conceptually, what drives costs in public health? Is it separate from cost drivers in health care more generally, or is this one and the same? Thanks!

Dr. Kindly clarify when one wants to do Master's in Internal Medicine for example from UK, does it mean all the things outlined will be covered during the course or? I want to do Internal Medicine from UK under Scholarship. However, based on the schemes there's just "Strengthening health systems and capacity " and not Internal Medicine.

Thank you for the very informative video Dr. Martin. I am planning on applying for a master's in public health next year and am looking for work experience to improve my application. You mentioned in another video that it is a bit of a chicken and egg scenario when applying for jobs without experience and it seems the same is true when trying to find work experience before applying for a MPH when you don't have an MPH. Do you have any advice with regards to getting paid work experience with just a Bsc, or is volunteering my best bet? Thanks very much.
@gregmartin7 жыл бұрын
Hi Michael - thanks for the question. Its a tricky one. Getting paid work experience at your level is rare (but not impossible). I would suggest that you first look around for volunteering opportunities (which might lead to a paid position once you have your foot in the door). Good luck!!

Excellent presentation video! If you have the chance, please create the next presentation for the public health educator. Many public health professions are facing the problem with medical health professions. Now, MD and RN are taking the public health professional jobs: community health director, public health program director, and public health administrator, and so on. Even though, MD and RN do not understand how to access the different ethnic groups to get the data or health information, they are still taking the program director positions. . MD and RN need to understand many secret things of public health professional experiences: political matters, social matters, business matters, and policy matters which are not studied or learned yet.
