Yes, always fight to the very, very end. Even when we think it might be the end, there are new therapies and techniques that can slow it down and (sometimes) even kill it. Having worked at a Cancer Center before, I know just how revolutionary (no, more evolutionary) the treatments that are coming online now are. New solutions are always around the corner.

Hi kev! I’m a cook like you. I love it. I’m connected so deeply to it thru my parents, and still can share it with my mom thankfully. I found out two years ago I had a swollen nodule on my thyroid so I had a partial removal. Unfortunately, I have follicular cancer in my thyroid today and monitor it well with doctors and meds. I love your videos, first one I saw was the onion sandwich:))) I’m grateful for down to earth cooks like you and myself (I like to consider that so at least of myself) that can see the positive in a shitty day as well as a shitty service, because we get to live to see, and cook for, another day. It's good to hear from you and that the process of the medicine and treatments is shrinking the tumors and helping you slowly heal. You are very strong mentally. I can't imagine being half as mentally strong. My grandma passed away from pancreatic cancer. It was severe. She had tubes and all sorts of surgery. It was awful and what mskes it worse is that she was losing weight at first, and thought nothing of it because she was trying to, and was on a diet. As she lost so much weight to the point it didn't make sense, she went to the doctor in which she was diagnosed. The last 2 weeks of her life she spent in hospice at my Aunts home. She was as comfortable as you can even be at that point. She could only look at you with her eyes to show she loves you. She was in so much pain and so frail, I can't forget that last time I look at my grandma before going home. I was 14, we were at my aunts house for thanksgiving. My grandma resting in a recliner chair withering away. A few days after Thanksgiving, she passed away. I apologize for going on and on, it's just I don't have anyone to talk to about things like that. I hope you continue to stay strong and to keep close to your family as much as you can. I wish I had family to be close to. ❤

While I certainly don't have cancer, I do have pretty extreme chronic fatigue. One of the first activities I found too difficult to do was cooking, so I hope you know how tough you are for going through with your therapies while still making cooking and making content for us.
