Genetic reports when not sure about positive results, it comes as uncertain only, most probably it is negative, but surety is not there.

Sir, My mother was tested positive for Breast Cancer in 2017 and surgery along with Chemo and Radiotherapy was done in 2017. But now in 2020, cancer was again detected in different parts of Body like Brain, Kidney, Lungs and Intestine. So should we go for BRCA 1 and 2 Test or it is not necessary to conduct BRCA 1 and 2 Test ?

I am just a medical student so I may not be the best person to comment however as far as I know. There must be something wrong during chemotherapy and her tumor has get malignant and spread to other organs. BRCA 2 gene mutation causes problem only in Male and BRCA 1 gene mostly in Female breast . Her tumor is malignant not benign. Please visit a good hospital. Take care of her. She is gonna be fit person soon.

@@Viraj_Sapkal sorry I don't know many doctors there . You can Google it. Please confirm if your mother is suffering from Tumor Lyis Syndrome, it happens during chemotherapy . Please check if there is elevated level of Uric Acid, Potassium and Hypocalcemia. If you can find out these things in her it may be Tumor Lysis Syndrome. Kindly confirm it from your doctor also.
