Five years ago I started my locs. I went to some Africans and they used that black thick styling gel and Spritz. my scalp itched like hell and it was a mess but I did not know any better so I kept going back. finally I saw a lady with beautiful locs and asked her who did her hair. I started going to her loctician. She took one look at my hair and said oh no. She had to wash all that mess out of my hair. Now my locs are beautiful.

I've been doing my own locks since 2012... I've f*cked up numerous times.. Just not knowing.. I started with Black beeswax and brown gel (don't look at me in that tone of voice, dammit!).. I've gone thru Hades and back with these locs and now, I'm trying to fix it.. I don't know if my body is changing or what, but I've stopped putting anything (besides oil and water) in my hair for about 6 months.. and I feel like I have a bunch of short hairs in the front of my head (breakage?????) I started with Taliah Waajid Tight hold in 2013 (??? could be wrong).. and loved the way it made my hair feel. But I sleep like a hibernating bear, and I'll go to sleep with PJs, scarf, and socks on and wake nekkid and freezing.. lint in the back is bad, but I died it brown (booom).. Just wondering about moistuization and healthy hair regimen to save my locs.. or should I start over the right way? Hep me pweeez Damian!! lol, I'm really not that dramatic, I swear

I interlocked my hair 4 months ago and this past weekend, I combed it all out. They were not locking AT ALL. I got them re-tightened at least 3 times within those 4 months and by the next week, they were coming out again. I was told over and over again "your hair is too soft" WTH?! Is that true that "soft hair" can't lock? I want to start locking my hair again asap with the comb coil twists and then palm rolling but you're all the way in Texas and I'm in Toronto, Canada. Any suggestions or recommendations for salons up here? Oh, BTW, I love your videos and shout out to your reference to Antigua.
