I love frozen veggies to mix into crock pot meals or to steam in the microwave. To me fresh is best but in a busy season of life it’s a huge time saver and I learned I think from C&D that frozen produce is picked at peak ripeness and nutrients 👍🏼

I've been following your plan for a while now, Dani, and it has truly helped me stay on track with my healthy eating. Prepping veggies for salads and snacks is part of my Sunday routine. I also hardboil a few eggs and poach/roast chicken breasts. I also bake two sweet or yellow potatoes, as I find them a great vehicle for chicken or even roasted asparagus.

I love your approach to food!! Have picked up so many low carb, paleo, etc cookbooks thinking " This is it! This will help get me on track, all in one place." Only to put them right back down a short time later after thumbing through the BORING, BLAND recipes. I wholeheartedly support your concept of not fighting yourself. I know they're not the best, but I have some zero sugar cookies that I go to. They help me so much in my hopeless, out of control moments - without the extra sugar and carbs that my brain thinks it's getting. 😁

Such amazing advice as always Dani. I have fallen out of a routine of preparing veggies and fruits etc, in advance. It really does make a huge difference to eating well and not feeling stressed when we come home after a long day at work and we are tired and we realize we have so much to do. Because of you, I am paying so much more attention to my protein intake at every meal. Thanks Dani!!!

I appreciate your meal planning tips - I need to do more of it myself! I love my potatoes in potato salad personally, and I make it with 3/4 Greek yogurt and 1/4 lowfat avocado or olive oil mayo instead of just mayo and add hard-boiled eggs for even more protein plus 3-4x the veggies (chopped onion and celery) that the recipe calls for. It's just enough mayo to provide the right taste. I might try cooking the (pre-cracked/opened) eggs in a loaf pan in the oven so I can add some liquid egg whites next time too. Btw I use the same Greek yogurt/mayo trick with anything that calls for mayo - deviled eggs, tuna salad, creamy salad dressings, etc. - and add extra onion, celery, and capers to my tuna salad too.

Nice video. I always learn so much from you. You look great BTW. I didn't see a link to the video that would demo some recipes for me. They were the ones you mentioned in the video showing how to use some of what you prepped. I also did one of your programs a few years back that included lectures and I think they were Zoom calls. They were over a few weeks. I learned a lot then. I find my trouble spot is: "okay, I made all of these things, now what do I do with them?" I'm always looking for quick and easy things. As I've gotten older, I want to be in the kitchen less. Sometimes I have a craving for one thing, but I don't want it in my refrig for a week. It gets chucked. Thanks for all you do.
