i love this i've been seeing more and more people integrating cottage cheese a bit there and well everywhere so that seems quite interesting.. i'm just wondering with your training routine and all is 1600cal not way under the normal maintenance level? are you on a fat loss journey or is it just what you feel satiated with?

This was so helpful, Dani! I am on a GLP1 and struggling to get enough protein in a day. Hi Dani! Thanks so much for sharing another 'what i eat in a day'! Im in my 40s also, with the goal of just feeling strong and healthy in a sustainable (and delicious) way so that I can avoid the ailments that women in their 60s-90s usually encounter if they don't incorporate movement/nutrient rich food as a regular part of life. I've been a subscriber here for years, I remember when you had a different kitchen background! Your food and now strength exercise routines really show that you just dont age! You truly do not look 48 and I feel like that's proof that having nutrient rich food and daily movement really does help people look and feel younger than their age!

Hello Dani from our farm in New Hampshire. Great tips for breakfast. I am post gall bladder and cannot manage any nut butters, however can eat most of what you are recommending. I just received your amazing cookbook and find I can also eat almost everything. The rest I can substitute, for example carob for chocolate. Chicken for red meat and lightly steamed salads instead of raw salads. The basics that you are putting forth in your book and on your channel, form a solid, reliable base of healthy and fun recipes. ~ Diane

I like that you are eating real food and not fasting, you eat good tasting food all throughout the day. I'm sort of on the same path. I'm 52 and this year I decided was the year to get in shape and stay there. Unfortunately it's right in the middle of menopause and it hasn't been easy but it's happening. I'm down 22lbs. I've been cycling and doing a lot of weight training. I like LMNT but not the high sodium. I am not sure if they need the sodium to react in some way with the other ingredients or not but I wish they made a lower sodium one because I have borderline high blood pressure.

Dani, I am currently crushing sheep yogurt. I eat 453 grams after my 13 mile walk outside. Then I generally eat 2-3 Brazil nuts and three organic prunes. Then I throw some kettlebells around and do some other muscle things, then for example today, I ate 250g of steamed broccoli with 150 calories worth of canned salmon with skin and bones. At some point I will also eat 2-3 T of pumpkin seeds (magnesium baby) and for dinner all I ever want is 453g of sheep yogurt AGAIN. I’m 60 and while I love nuts and nut butters I’m currently pushing it all away in favor of sheep yogurt. 80g protein per day

It's my pleasure! Glad it's all helpful. The more fat in the cottage cheese, the less watery the eggs will be. That said, I usually use lowfat and find that once they come out of the pan and are not super hot, the water reabsorbs and the eggs are nice and fluffy.

Dani, thank you for sharing your tips, tricks, and lifestyle changes on this journey you are on to create a healthier lifestyle for yourself. I have learned so many new things from you that I’ve incorporated into my life and never even really realized the power of protein. I mainly more vegetables because I love vegetables in my life and always just did a small little amount of protein. Changing that up is really helped. Of course, I’m not there at 140 g point yet, but hope to get better. I didn’t implementing more protein into my life. As far as LMNT, the first time I saw it in one of your videos, I believe it was when you first introduced it, I ordered some I could not believe how my body felt after the first packet that I tried. My head felt clearer. I was just so amazed. I too like all of the flavors and cannot really pick one that I like better than the other. Upon trying LMNT and realizing how it made me feel, I shared it with my son, daughter-in-law and family. They absolutely love it. Our entire family is trying to adopt a healthier lifestyle, and I do not do process foods if I can help it. The journey has been a challenge at times, but I realize how much better I feel because of it. I look forward to learning more from you and hopefully can adopt more physical lifestyle, as well. I’m not as active as I used to be. I went from being an early childhood educator to an early childhood education trainer. I have a desk now and so not used to it!
