About 8 months after I stopped washing my hair so much it got super healthy, therefore I was able to let it grow long. The less I do, the better it looks. Less heat, less products, less shampooing.

@rosannaellenjane5 жыл бұрын
Same, I wash my hair about every 4 - 5 days and its not even greasy by then, my hairs gone from collar bone length to my chest within 6 months. And I only have a trim every 4 months and usually have no split ends.

@rosannaellenjane5 жыл бұрын
@@cup_noodles4788 happily haha but you do have to invest a bit of money at the start then it gets cheaper, so first off I only wash my hair every 4 - 5 days, this took a while too achieve and a lot of dry hair shampoo, first wash it every other day then after a while every 3 days etc. I use a clarifying shampoo first to cleanse my hair of any product or build up. Then I use hair burst shampoo and conditioner, Lee Staffords hair growth mask and hair burst chewable biotin, but I only take 2 a week as it can give you cystic acne. But because there is 100 in a tub they last me a year and because I don't need to wash my hair often then the products last longer, and when you blow dry your hair try using briogeo blossom and bloom root lifting blow dry spray as it soaks up excess oils in between washes. Hope this helps x

@Ivy Schneberger I'm keto too, but that won't stop your hair from falling out after menopause if that's your genetics. I had waist-length hair until I turned 60, then half of it fell out literally overnight. Some of it grew back, but not all of it. I started using monoxidil and that helped a lot, but I have a small bald spot on top of my head that never grew back and another where my swirl was. I just learned from a KZbin video how to twist my hair until it curls up on itself at the back of my head. Then I put in two hair sticks to hold it tight all night. I use the little "orange sticks" that are sold for manicure use as they are the perfect size and grip so well to hold all night. Hair sticks are more gentle on the hair than elastics. I just love them...

What we put in our body’s is so important. Oh the menopause.... yes I did shed until everything was balanced out plus I do have autoimmune issues with bladder and fibromyalgia. Really feel so blessed at this point of 58 years young, that my hair is healthy and growing.

More hair videos please. I am 64 and also have very long hair. Your hair is gorgeous! Mine has finally started to shine & look healthy again when I followed your advise & started masking & conditioning with Colleen Rothschild. I also pretreat with avocado oil or almond oil occasionally. Using CR serum & Lite Moroccan Oil on ends after drying helps hold my shine.

I just started using leaf and flower products and they are great! They are plant based and they have a product for frizzy hair and supposed to least up to 5 shampoos! I washed my hair last night after my stylist used it on my hair after cutting it, and it was so much less curlier when it was wet! Hopefully it will last with Houston’s very humid weather! Love it so far! You have beautiful hair!

She is gorgeous, isn't she?! I've never been so grateful to find a KZbin person in my life as I am in finding her - especially since we are the same age and have almost identical skin type, likes and dislikes regarding skincare, etc. If she loves it, I love it! If it works for her, it works for me! I just absolutely adore her and cannot recommend her videos enough! If you're young, pain attention to what she has to say! She is a magnificent testimonial for how to take care of yourself from head to toe! On top of all that, she has such a great personality - and her love for her dogs is beyond!!!

You have beautiful hair. I have close to the exact same hair as you, same length. I don’t wash it every day, I use good shampoo and conditioner and blow dry with a good heat spray prior, then always use an oil to smooth on bottom. My hair looks great for days, I would never have the time to do what you do. Never use hairspray. Wash at night and twist in clip to sleep as I have to be ready to get to work in the morning! Hot rollers, some days also, that’s it and done :-)

Same...I only wash once a week but do same as you...but I do not use silicone oils like Morrocan ...its real crap and will ruin your hair in the end...I use real oils with nothing added

Well, I can’t imagine anyone’s hair looking more beautiful than yours. You’re definitely something to aspire to. Thank you so much for sharing all your tips and products. I don’t have dry hair like yours but I’m still going to is your product listing as a source for me. I’m growing my hair out. Now if I could just keep my fingers out of it, I’d be doing pretty good. I’ve always “twiddled” with my hair. I can’t help it! It feels good. 😄

You are so knowledgeable! Would you share your thoughts on products and styling ideas best for finely textured wavy/loose curls? My hair gets weighed down easily and tends to get dry on the ends & oily on the scalp. It's finicky. I've been working to raise the level of its health & volume, but haven't found the exact best combo yet. Any ideas from you would be appreciated! 💗

@@liverhater88 She had good hair to begin with; washing every day will damage most people's hair, as will using heat to style. No type or amount of product will ever 'repair' hair, except maybe near the scalp, because hair is dead tissue.

Monna Kendrick after so many products most hair will look shiny but keep in mind repairing damaged hair is almost impossible. of course it looks healthier but that doesn’t always mean it is! ☺️

Because dry hair is very porous so water comes and goes easily. Now amount of sealing products will keep the moisture in long enough to go several days without washing and the oil treatments prevent hair breakage from the daily washing.

Genetics, Dear. This is genetics. My hair has always been sparse and brittle. Everyone in my family has the exact same hair. Most of the ladies start wearing half wigs and toppers in their early 50s.

@beeonthyme57604 жыл бұрын
Check out Jill Lynn beauty Therapy, she reviews wigs and toppers. I bought 2 wigs from a mother daughter wig selling team and I returned them as they are very small wigs. Be careful who you buy from. They charged a 15percent fee for returns. I never wore the wigs. It cost me 70.00 just to try it on. So buyers beware
