Hi there. I'm glad that you learned something new. Let us know if your headaches do indeed subside, or even go away, once the root canal has been removed (you might have to wait a few weeks or even several months to see the full effects of your treatment). Best of luck!

@@johnjazayeri Oh Hi again. Had the tooth removed last Tuesday by a local private dentist. The consultation and extraction was very rushed all in 30 mins for a hefty price! He had changed his views about extraction compared to 2018 and tried to persuade me to re- root canal and re crown. And didn’t give me any guarantee. I said extraction pls. Just put a disclaimer in-front of me to sign that extraction of that molar tooth might damage the other teeth or fracture my jaw or damage the nerve permanently during extraction. He used so much force as if uprooting a tree! His nurse had to hold my jaw by both hands as he was pulling! I asked him to be a bit gentle but said couldn’t otherwise the tooth won’t come out. Have not experienced so much pain before, despite the fact that had 3 wisdom teeth removed before. He didn’t clean the socket despite a big abscess shown in the X-ray, just put some Curasept gel on it and gauze and said go home. There was no leaflet in the gel to read the side effects which I showed reaction to. No warning about infection which the next day pus was coming out of by the side of the blood clot. Had to call emergency line early morning to be told to stop the gel and ask for antibiotics. The dentist when called again only said the pus is the infection underneath the tooth which is coming out and asked me to go back to scrape the top and put dressing on it and selling me more antibiotics which I had no trust left in him and refused to go and contacted my own GP. I was left with swollen face to one side and severe pain and 24h migraines again. Now after 6 days it stared to get better. I thank you very much that answered me properly that the yellow crust on the socket is normal and the body doing its Job otherwise if I had gone back to him he would have removed it and God knows what would have happened afterwards. What saved me was gargling with salt and water and a-bit of tea tree oil few times a day, using diluted clove oil with olive oil for pain and honey dressing. May not work for all but saved me. I will keep you posted definitely about my migraines. Thank you again!

8:30... yup. Was trying to convince a friend back in the 90's saying "pff its just ONE tooth, and in the back. No one will see or feel anything... ".... now misses 6 teeth and had a stroke last year, at 42!

I tried to explained like Michael Seitz once did "take one tooth out; the rest will have to work harder and will fail quicker!! Its like an 18 wheeler on which you'd take a couple wheels off: no problems right away, but eventually it will be a treal catastrophe!!"
