Last summer’s nearly nightly dinner bowl addiction : TJ brown rice, canned chickpeas, Tj roasted corn, Tj roasted peppers and onions, steamed broccoli all topped with about 1/4 container of TJ pico de gallo salsa. CATS!

I dont live near a Trader Joes-sadly 😢 Or a Whole Foods. Obviously I make do with what I do have which is Wal Mart and Giant Eagle. I wish so bad that they carried fire roasted veggies-among other things lol . It would help a lot with adding some flavor into some WFPB meals.

I'm a cat lady too! And I LOVE the pumpernickel bread and sauerkraut! That might just be the beginning of a great sandwich! Wonder how the refried beans would taste with that. Maybe just spinach and not the kraut. Now I'm hungry! Lol! (But it IS time for me to eat...)

I'm surprised you didn't mention the steamed lentils (which are in the produce section). Tasty, a real time saver, and almost meaty, as they are packed tight and stick closely together. And are only lentils, salt, and seasonings.

I'm from Canada and just bought my frozen spinach...it is organic and $4.49 per 10.5oz(300g) frozen package. I wish we had Trader Joe's...I see both your bag and my bag are products of Mexico. Also bought organic frozen blueberries 1.5kg(53 oz) for $14.99!!!!! But I grow my own wheatgrass and pea and sunflower shoots, and broccoli, alfalfa, red clover and fenugreek sprouts so that helps the $$, since growing is not only cheaper, but organic, local and sustainable. Thanks for your videos!!

Emmie! Get a rice cooker!! Perfect rice, every time! And usually very quick-- I bough a rice cooker for about $10 8 years ago when my son was born, and I still use it regularly, and it still makes perfect rice! I also like to make big batches of rice in my instapot and store it in the fridge, it lasts several days, and I've read that cooling rice and re-heating it increases the resistant starch content--- is that true to your knowledge???? Love your videos btw, I just discovered you recently and have been binging on them! :)

Does Trader Joe’s sell frozen white shoepeg corn? They used to have that in every grocery store and now I can’t find it anywhere! EDIT: I see in your video a couple of times “white corn“ and I have had that before and it is not the same thing as “white shoepeg corn“, so I wanna know do they have “shoepeg white corn“.
