You won't believe how many come in thinking they have a heel spur when really it's just a callus. Maybe this video will help somebody someday

Quick question if I may? I *do* actually have bone spurs on *both* heels (lucky me.....) as verified by x-ray. With the worse of the two, I was told that removal of the spur would require the Achilles tendon to be detached, and then reattached after the procedure. Are there any effective, non-surgical treatments? Cheers.

Many years ago I had this disaster on my foot. I tried everything, including similar procedures and nothing helped. The spur grew back until one lady recommended me this. 1. Soak foot in baking soda every night. 2.Prepare strong solution of eucalyptus enough for 30 days. After soaking your foot apply eucalyptus over night and make sure that application stays wet all night. In the morning carefully clean the skin like doctor is doing , but with the clippers. Do the procedure 30 days. To my surprise in 30 days a round seed came out leaving behind small hall. The spur never grew back.

I had a planters wart way bigger deep in my foot. It was huge. The podiatrist said he'd have to cut it out in a hospital because of potential blood loss. I went to a couple different doctors and no go. I read they often go away after three years. No one could freeze it out it was too deep. Beatle juice didn't work. Nothing worked. I scraped and scraped but I couldn't get anywhere. I tried dry ice and I couldn't freeze it out myself it was too deep. Couple doctors tried nitrogen, it was too deep. It got so it didn't hurt though . So every day I put wart stick and medical tape over that. Finally after 5 years it just went away. It's weird no one else in my family got it and even my other foot didn't get it. If you get it wet and see a swirl below the surface you got it. I was so grateful when it finally went away. The idea was by keeping it irritated my immune system would decide it didn't belong and get rid of it. It didn't hurt and I didn't want half my heel removed so I kept going like that. I guess my immune system finally got rid of it.

I was on a swim team when I was younger and one girl on the team got the HPV virus and got “seeded” looking warts on her feet and her mother failed to inform the coaches and the YMCA where we were on the swim team. She walked barefoot all around the pool deck and in the locker room for two weeks before her and her mother thought to say anything. Needless to say…my mother and all the other parents were pissed and angry because all of us contracted the HPV virus and got plantar warts all over our feet…must of us suffered from it for two years until it fully went away. This girl also got warts all over her arms and she picked at them enough that they became so infected that they oozed green pus and she was in the hospital for the weekend on IV antibiotics. When you mentioned plantar warts, I was immediately taken back to such an unpleasant childhood memory. 😂🤢 I remember having to her care from both a dermatologist and podiatrist for at least two years consistently…you remind me of the nice, kind, nonjudgmental, smart podiatrist I had. And. they keep coming and going and moving around and just they’re crazy to have when you’re a type one diabetic. It’s kind of crazy that they just won’t die off. Sometimes I've removed these myself with cuticle nippers, after soaking foot in water. Just have to be careful to cut callus (dead) skin only, not into the soft skin or it will bleed and you can't see what you're doing. If it bleeds stop immediately and treat the wound. Try again some weeks later after it has healed up. At least this has worked for me for calluses and warts on the bottom of the foot. The earlier you catch them the easier it is.

Cantharone, otherwise known as Bettlejuice, comes from blister beetles. It's a common wart treatment because it causes the outer layers of skin to blister and fall off. This tends to kill the wart. In this case, it looks like it's being used as an exfoliant. It will remove the outer layers of the skin and cause the skin to be smoothed out in the process.

It's going to hurt "a little bit"? You're like my partners who play like they are the nice guys when they remove warts with cantharidin. "It doesn't hurt like liquid nitrogen." Well, no... not in the office. But later that day it does. My partners think kids won't make the connection between the "painless medicine" the doctor put on and the weeping blisters that develop. Then they refuse to see my partners again. I'm straight-up honest with them and tell them that it's going to hurt in the office, and it's going to hurt some at home, too. But it won't hurt MORE at home. AND it is completely their choice. The wart is not life-threatening, so if they don't want it treated, I won't treat it. I don't really care if their parents fire me as their child's pediatrician. (In truth, I've just earned their child's trust, so they are stuck bringing their kid back to see me.)

Those seeded callouses are dreadful and painful.

I've had small calluses on my feet that were very painful. Nothing like the ones I see on these videos. So, these must be completely terrible.

I had this once 10 years back. I dug it out myself and luckily went away. It took weeks to heal. I used hydrogen peroxide to wash out the wound everyday.

Is it weird that I liked having a corn because digging it out hurt and felt good at the same time 🥴

The title says it is a heel spur but at the beginning of the video you say it is a wart. What is it?

I had one of those on the bottom of my right foot. Applied a little wound honey to a band-aid and placed over the callus. Did this for a week and it softened the callus and it was easy to remove

Wasn't that a corn? Corns go deep & hurt like a needle poking.

Corns are technically on top of your feet

I used those corn removal on something similar. Left it in there and then it start loosening up the twisted skin that creates a corn. It seems this is what he has. I haven’t had one again. Maybe next time try that instead of going to the doctor. Less expensive.

Although 100% unqualified, I've set myself doing work like this. It's VERY profitable and the ones that go wrong are only in the 10-20 a month.

@@nicolebaker957 There’s a British podiatrist who calls herself Miss Foot Fixer. I often wonder if podiatrists have to be doctors in the UK. Seems strange for her to use Miss rather than Dr.
