I do the same with my Japanese when the situation necessitates or would be made easier if my foreigner status is in the front of the mind of who I'm dealing with when I'm in Japan.. Because English was drilled into us since elementary. It's an actual subject even as early as kindergarten. Many are decent speakers. And even those struggling with it will valiantly try to speak English all the same . As for Spanish, while we did get colonized for more than 3 centuries and it got passed on to people, the Spanish language is an actual elective language course offered in universities and colleges here.

@@mrbanana6464 Oh shut up. Then don't speak it. So many whiners. Brits didn't colonize you, you speak Spanish because of colonialism. You speak English because Americans invented the internet and because Brits colonized half the world and people found it useful to speak English. If Tagalog was useful outside of Philippines, people would learn that. Just a lot of wah wah about imperialism, but the west has advanced your backwards world by 1000+ years. I'm really tired of the whiners complaining about imperialism, it was always the way of the world, but westerners were the only ones who didn't just murder and pillage but advance their colonies.

He actually did work for KGB just in office, so he wasnt anything like russian James Bond. He worked in German, so he didnt need to use English in his daily life. Also I think that for russian spy from times of communism in Europe it was more useful for soviet spies to learn German, Polish, Hungarish, Czech, Slovakish or Bulgarian...because soviets were a lot interested in others communists states (e.g. when Czechoslovakian people wanted to change in regim in 1968 soviets occupied Prague with soviet's and communbist's alies army)... So I think that he can speaks English has nothing to do with his KGB career.

@@tortellinifettuccine True, linguistic education in English speaking countries is abysmal. And the reason so many learn English is out of necessity. Here in the Motherland, Africa we speak many languages fluently. For example, English is my third language and first European language. I have since studied Romance Languages, other Germanic languages and currently learning an Eastern Slavic language. My first two languages are my native languages so I'm a polyglot. Learning new languages are for me a way of acquiring different kinds of brain in one head. The heart of the process is not just acquiring and fine-tuning the brain to adopt a new register of words and word orders but to be able to think in that language. At that very moment you become the version of you that could have existed had you been a native speaker of that language. So there are lots of us here on the continent with similar feats of strength. It is very common here.

Vietnam (there are pictures of children with their skin burned off from usage of napalm on civilian areas)? Japan?? In fact there were basically only civilian casualties with the nuclear strikes on Hiroshima and Nagasaki... Calling Putin names while not cursing American Authorities is quite hypocritical. America has it's history with civilian casualties. As I see it he protects his own country from a potential thread that is Ukraine joining Nato. I DON'T support Russia's course of action in Ukraine by any means but I understand the motivations. It's the same reason other european presidents do the same thing, if you are representing your country, it's a matter of pride to speak the language. Putin was addressing the people of America, so it was a polite way to say "I have this message, and I want you guys to understand it.". When he is defending his country's interests he uses Russian, because he doesn't want the people to understand, he wants other nations to respect his wishes, and reply accordingly. @-T-X-M- You're delusional, at least people in Western countries aren't run by fucking dictators... we can see what Putin does just by looking at the world, he is trying to take over the old Soviet borders and make the west fight amongst each other. America invaded Iraq, sure that was a shit thing to do, but they didn't claim they owned Iraq and that Iraq wanted to be a part of America like Russia is doing with Ukraine. Oh yeah, and our elections aren't rigged like your third world shit hole Russia's are, hence why Putin was able to take advantage of it and help get Trump elected.

“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son,that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” John 3:16 We all deserve to go to hell because we have sinned. But God loved us and gave us His Son Jesus Christ to die on the cross in our place to pay the punishment of all of our sins for us when he died on the cross. Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of God, and yet God the Son also. God the Father (God)has raised Jesus his son from the dead. JESUS IS COMING AGAIN!!!! Repent of your sins, and believe in who Jesus is and what He did for you and that God the Father has raised Him from the dead and you WILL BE SAVED FROM THE LAKE OF FIRE(hell). Sinner’s prayer Lord, I know I’m a sinner, I believe that you died on the cross in my place of burning in hell forever so I wouldn’t have to go to hell. I accept your sacrifice for me. Please save me from the lake of fire and forgive my sins. Thank you for the gift of eternal life! Amen. Now turn from your wicked ways towards Jesus Christ and surrender your life to Him! If you have any questions please ask me! God bless you!😊♥️♥️♥️
