Great video Amy . Just a pointer we all should remember he looked way better than all the competition in preseason in our laval system he played better than all his piers in that Logan , Struble ,Trudeau. So we should realize he played for the worst team over there and had an injury. I think this kids going to shock us even though i wanted a forward drafted. He showed such poise and never got cuaght out of position. And that list should include Baron. This kid if he gains some bulk and is mentally strong i dont think hes going to have the same issues Slaf had. He seemed unaffected by our north american ice. So i think come training camp i wont be surprised he leap frogs all on that list . He was looking like a veteran in that small sample size look at hom in training camp. Pre season. And he easily was better thsn all those name s i mentioned. I think he s going to shock us at training camp now that he s with his peers . Better quality team mates. And also i can personally tell you from the days when i played , it made me a way better player when i was on a crappy team cause i hadto work harder. It actually propelled my game way beyond my peers that i ended up being top of te class when on a top team. So i think this time in laval will be enough tonget him back on par. And remember he also had a injury. So i think come training camp he ll be back where he needs to be. I think Hughs is making the right decision for now . Buti wont be surprised this kid blows by Struble, Logan , Trudeau ,and Baron. He had no chinks in his game and looked way more advanced than those players. Than we dont know if he lk be better than Harris and Kavacic as well hes to me going to be a huge threat to take a spot on habs from training camp on . Just think logan Baron , Trudeau have major defincies in their defensive game. Now Logans coming along but more so on the offensive side and Struble has a good defensive game . So if he looked better than all guyd mentioned look out i think were going to be pleasantly surprised training camp. He just has to focus on bulking up.

Welcome to North America David! Great analysis of what he's facing to get in the groove over here. With the Rocket hanging onto hope of a playoff position it looks to me like throwing him in sooner than later is no lose for the team as he gets a very different look at a team fighting for the playoffs rather than the basement (as was the case in Europe). The crowd and the vibe should get him pumped to be here and, as you say, if he can produce quickly and help them into the playoffs, then we have a great story! If not then he gets a taste of what is to come next season. BIG weekend ahead for young David and the Rocket. Should be fun to watch!

sometimes a team doesnt deserve to make the playoffs either because of bad coaching . or lack of talent looking at the laval roster . it is devoid of talented prospects other than mailloux . looking into my crystal ball . i see reggie jr coming back . so his touch of reinbacker will only be the end of this season. cant ruin him in that amount of time . would make him want to never go back to the ahl again imo . i would like to amend my prediction i made last time . reinbacker is a hab coming out of camp and mailloux needs to take a spot from kovecevec . moving savard to third duo as he should . before hes traded . imo houle is a problem . i didnt like how he left norlinder to get gooned by the amerks a few years back . dont like him playing dobas instead of the other non prospect . dont want him having reinbacker around to ruin . am i bad bad habs fan for thinking that ? or ahead of the curve ? gohabsgo
