I think you can compare it to the Knightrider KITT in super pursuit mode. About those aero spikes/guides on the front fender and rear boot: those were inspired by the Super Silhouette group 5 race car. It was a thing in the kaido racer scene as well

Brilliant stuff! The 'Turbo C' (intercooled) model was released in 1984. My old 11/83 build RSX Turbo was one of the last non-intercooled Iron-Mask cars.

Oh yeah, Seibu Keisatsu👍. But I would make that bonnet functional with my trusted grinder 😅. A fine peace there what you showed us Daniel, specially the Aerokraft kit on it and many button's inside 👏👏👏. And just to clarify, there are never enough button's in a 80's car😁.

At one point I was crazy, stupid, obsessed with this car. Imo all the pieces add to the car but all together, it’s less than the sum of it’s parts and it does get a bit busy. The hood fins need to have to stay though. Also the strut brace is chefs kiss

Yep, strut brace is bellissimo af. And, it could be harsh me saying it's busy, because it's a Knight Rider/ A-Team kinda deal, and not a street car. But, subjective and all that.

I’m no communications expert. Lol. But, inside there was a CB radio, also a telephone, which would have been bleeding edge back then.

@@wasabicars That is actually an amateur radio, so the antennas are to let it reach the bands. Probably not really functional in this car though, but maybe!

The antennas can be released from the clips when needed so they stand straight up.

They were inspired by the Super Silhouette group 5 cars of that era. The factory Skyline, Bluebird and Silvia Super Silhouette race cars featured them. So I guess it was definitely intended as aero purpose on those cars😉
