Hearing Audio Changes

Thanks James. Definitely had the “move knob - doesn’t sound better yet - move knob again - sounds better - realizes knob is back where I started.” Acoustics are one thing - psycho-acoustics is a whole other animal.

The phantom knob is a real thing. Whenever people tell me they can hear the difference between 48k and 96k, I laugh.

Thanks James! I love what the legendary live audio engineer Robert Scovill said many years ago: "Spend hours every day listening to all kinds of music (particularly well recorded music) to build a memory bank of what sounds are like and how to pick them out of a mix." Words to live by. :)
