Mr. Green. Credit default Swaps were not the issue in the housing crisis. In fact, credit default swaps served to check the market which was running away from itself. Synthetic CDOs were the innovation that were the issue. If you are not familiar with financial history, how can you even hope to comment on these innovations? Furthermore, the industry is not claiming that regulations would hamper their innovation, we are claiming that regulation by enforcement is hampering and scaring off innovation; and that the only reason there IS reckless regulation through enforcement right now, is because the laws are unclear thanks to congress’ laziness.

There is every crime in the crypto industry to be aggressive about moving forward. From self appointed mafia of asset managers & execs to community gangstalking, hacking, theft, larceny, neurological torture, price gauging, criminal rent seeking, organ trafficking, around the clock breech of privacy, medical malpractices to coercive unbanking & unemployment of their victims, R these not worthy of the congress's attention ???
