Hearing held on credit card reward programs

Federal regulators held a hearing on May 9 to analyze airline and credit card reward programs. The hearing came after some consumers accused companies of using a 'bait-and-switch' technique with their benefits. FOX 10's Marc Martinez has more.

Don’t get a points card. Value of points are subjective. Get a cash back card instead. This way you know exactly how much the rewards are worth. Responsible spenders should always get a cash back credit card. Not only responsible credit card spending and paying off on time is great for credit score, cash back is free money that can be used on credit card balances. Using a debit card doesn’t earn anything.
