It's impossible to hear above 16KHz in this test, KZbin compression trims off above this frequency range because it doesn't make much of a difference for most people most of the time. You can verify this by downloading the audio and viewing the waveform in a spectrogram. The first signal above 0dB (normalised) is 16KHz.

yea, and i didnt figure it out until i fired up the RTA in my X32 Edit software... first i made sure it was set to pre-EQ, then i thought i maybe had a high cut enabled somewhere, then after making sure there was nothing on my hardware that was blocking everything from 16k+, i noticed that no matter if i could hear it or not, there was absolutely no audio signal until around 16k... :)

I recently went clubbing & returned home with annoying tinnitus. When I woke up, the tinnitus continued & loud sounds hurt my ears, left more than right. As a doctor I knew this was "normal" after loud events, but still wanted an idea of what to expect before seeing the ENT specialist. The tinnitus has gone away & I have no more pain, but as expected, my left ear has slightly worse hearing. Even though I scored above "excellent" on both sides, I know whatever damage done is permanent, as hair cells located in the inner ear cannot repair themselves or grow back after being damaged. I'm afraid I will receive similar news from the ENT doctor, but overall satisfied with this test & relieved to know the damage was "minimal". Thank you.

That is good result for your age. Except for noise in some systems, there is nothing above 16kHz in this video because KZbin cuts those frequencies out.

According to Cakewalk, the KZbin compression cuts off Hz over 16k. I can hear 16k at almost 35 years old. They say after you hit 30, you go down to 16,000 from 17k. Some sources say you go even lower in Hz after you hit 25 y/o. Lol. Well, I passed a bunch of online hearing tests, even though I have had tinnitus since like 14 y/o or so. Lol

This was a horrible video test. I was born with a hearing loss and I can only hear to about 1200 hz and I’m not deaf by any means. I can talk and hear people as well as carry a conversation. To say that 4000hz is deaf is a gross misrepresentation in this video.
