14,345. Had vertigo episode with loose otoconia last year in right ear only. Had 2nd episode happen recently, but this time with tinnitus remaining. Onset by physical exercise, jogging, while hearing clicking noises in ear (the otoconia loose and bouncing around). Hoping it clears up. Trying Epley Maneuver but sure would like to know what ear drops are recommended if any.

Honestly I didn't believe it! I truly didn't believe that my tinnitus, which I have suffered from since I was 20 years old, could essentially vanish but when it got to 13,000htz on up to 20k I actually heard SILENCE for the 1st time since my tinnitus began. Holy crap. It's crazy. Thank you for making this video. I am going to look into this as a possible treatment now because of you and I appreciate it so much.

Hi, my tonal tinnitus is about 8,000 Hz. Very good information. I can describe a lot better to my ENT. The only thing, frequency change too fast. A little bit slower, you could determine a lot better the frequency of your particular tinnitus. Thanks, Alex from Florida!

something around 16,000Hz i also cannot hear anything above 16,000Hz and from 15,000Hz to 16,000Hz it just gets exponentially quieter and quieter. i can only really tell there is still something playing by starting and stopping the video rapidly and hearing the difference between truely nothing and the quiet unholy screeching of the damned fading into oblivion.

I know this an older video but I just came across it. The last time I played one of these videos, not sure if it was yours or not, I found a tone that matched my tinnitus and made my world almost silent for that moment. This time though, I went back and forth and up and down with the volume and none of the frequencies came close to the high pitch I have 24/7. It’s maddening.

This was WILD. I've known for awhile that I have tinnitus but never been tested for it officially, or unofficially. I just started tracking the symptom a couple months ago and realized that I experience it almost daily. Listening to this video, my tinnitus disappeared pretty fast, around 450-500Htz. I kept listening out curiosity though, because the ringing sound I hear is MUCH higher pitched. Nothing else happened until around 9200Htz when I almost lost the sound briefly but it came back in at 9900Htz. I think the ringing I hear daily is around 10200Htz, and then I couldn't hear anything after about 12900Htz. ETA: I don't know why I experience this. I've never really done anything to damage my ears. I'm not keen on loud environments so I wear noise-cancelling earplugs at the rare concerts I attend (I was late diagnosed autistic AND ADHD so that explains my life-long simultaneous aversion to/fascination with concerts).

SLOW THE FREQUENCY CHANG RATE DOWN TO A CONSTANT CHANGE RATE ACROSS THE ENTIRE SOUND SPECTRUM!!!! My ears seem to match around 8 Khz, but I noticed that at the lower frequencies, the tone change from one frequency to the next is very slow, so much easier to pinpoint the exact frequency matching one's ear Tinnitus. As the frequency moves up, so does the speed. Around the 6 Khz and above levels, the frequency is changing so fast that its nearly impossible to zero in on the exact harmonic frequency. Perhaps recreate the video and move up through the frequencies at the EXACT SAME SPEED across the entire sound spectrum. Yes, it make take a 5 - 10 minutes to do this, but it will definitely help those with high frequency tinnitus to zero in on their exact matching frequency. Thanks for doing this.

@AdMBandLeader 7 ай бұрын
@@mtmaniacs That won't work well since it'll proportionately decrease the rate of frequency changes throughout the whole spectrum from 20hz to 20khz. Which would mean it'll be a slower change than desired in the lowest frequency range and then. The op is asking for a uniform rate of change of the frequencies throughout the whole spectrum.

Very interesting. While it was a little difficult to get a perfect match because my tinnitus has a slight modulation to it and your frequencies were more steady. I was surprised by what I could not hear. At about 95 Hz, the sound faded away and I heard nothing until it came back at about 125 Hz. What surprised me most was that the closest frequency to my tinnitus was about 5800 Hz, but at about 6100 Hz, all sound faded away and I could hear nothing after. It was interesting to find that my tinnitus was so close to my hearing threshold of the upper frequencies.

I listened about five more times and I could hear it again all the way through. So I do not think it’s an accident so then I started hearing it again after about the fourth or fifth time then I noticed there was the switching in my ears as if the other side was adjusting. but definitely the first I would say four times I listen to it dipped out for me around 10,200 or something. But it is the type of noise that is more in my head like the noise you get arching your neck back, pressing your teeth together, jutting your lower jaw out sorts of things. 😮 I have had my ears tested for deafness. Both have normal waveform but the right fails more quickly at higher pitch testing.

Around 3500 for me, but the amazing thing was that after listening to the test audio I couldn't hear my tinnitus for several minutes!

Mine too. And, weirdly, my tinnitus is normally just in my left ear but when I listen to the sounds, I can hear the pitch match in my right at about 11khz.

The left and right ear have nothing to do with it. The noise is in the brain, though originally caused by damage to the cilia in the cochlea(s)..

11,600Hz. 49 y/o. 2 years of this. Noticeable at night or when quiet. Hear it in head, not ears. ENT claims a hearing aid would make it stop. I don’t think I have a hearing problem and my tests didn’t indicate any significant hearing loss. I think I’d only wear them to bed. Would love to know the cause. Pretty much accepted it.

my right is has louder tinnitus (I also suffer from hearing loss in this ear). Right ear tone is 3500Hz. I have some in my left ear but it' lower and I had a hard time with it because the right just powers over it. HOWEVER, with earphones over both ears, I could swear it was 6600Hz???

Great content as always. Mine was around 6400-6700. Strangley, i wasn't suffering from tinnitus before the test, but it triggered straight after. Maybe it's likely cause i kept rewinding the video to get an exact number 😅

If you weren’t suffering before you took the test, why did you take the test? And if you weren’t suffering before the test then how did you know yours was at the level you quoted? As a severe Tinnitus sufferer, I am truly confused!

Lost the right ear at 6k then it very briefly came back at 8k. Lost the left ear at 10k ish. Of course, I have had life-long tinnitus in many forms, including pulsatile and musical over the years. Concussions-I don’t recommend them. Despite being vaccinated, I went completely deaf in the right ear when I caught covid, sigh. Nonetheless, I never knew what life was like without tinnitus, so it doesn’t bother me that much. It certainly doesn’t affect my musical abilities though I can get confused easily when there is too much noise around me. Still! Protect your noggin’s and no loud music! This was fun!

10,000 and 13,000 and at 18.000 i hardly heard anything in the video, so i guess It is something between those. I was told I have a minor hearing loss but I can't remember what frequancy it was as it was a year ago and the audiolog said it is not important.....

Listening via streaming through my KS10's, I could not really get my tinnitus frequency from your video except that it must be above 5 kHz but it did illustrate my ear-computer-BT-aids system frequency response. I could not hear the lower or higher tones but above ~400 Hz, it got quite loud until ~6500 Hz and I could perceive beating frequencies at several points in the video.

Can hear from 115 Hz to 12.5 kHz, where my right ear tinnitus then starts matching with the tone and then disappears at around 16 kHz, where my ear is no longer tugging at the cheek muscles.
