Wow, that sounds extremely cool. So many details come through here that are lost under all the layers of the complete track. It's interesting how most artists sound like shit when you strip away all of the camouflage, whereas she actually sounds *better* when her voice is isolated. A truly great vocalist.

Steinberg and Kelly met the Wilson sisters for the first time when they were invited to the studio where this was being recorded. Kelly, who was an experienced session singer, ended up singing high harmony parts on the record.

story from Casey Kasem i heard once someone wrote this song for heart and Ann Wilson hated hit and couldnt sing it to her potential so during the recording the producer purposely made her angry and threatened her if she didnt sing the song, which he did it just to get a rise out of her and she didnt know at the time he was just doing it to make her voice stronger.The plan obviously worked and turned out to be one of there biggest hits. You can tell in the very end the anger in her voice.
