Working in social care, I can tell you it's costing an absolute fortune to not only health services but Children's and then Adults social care. One family had 4 kids (now between 18-26). All the kids are affected by developmental disabilities stemming from cousin marriage. Each child costs around £120k per year in residential care fees alone. Not healthcare...Just social care. Its awful.

My.mum and my aunty wanted me to go out with my 1st cousin he was about 27 and I was 15, he was to shy to ask any girls out so they tried to push him on to me, I stood my ground and said no, my mum blamed me for the break up of the family because after this out families never spoke again, I new this was wrong but they blamed me a 15 year old girl, and I'm a English person, I'm 58 now and it still annoys me that I got the blame😡

The difference is the scale, the jewish community is very small so doesn't produce that many babies and in British culture it's very rare and very taboo so neither of these would cause the catastrophic issues to the social care system like it's doing within the Muslim community.
