The pattern worked out beautifully! I wanted to send you a picture of Daisy's Easter sweater, with the hearts all down the back but I've tried to paste it here and cannot. I have to say it looks fabulous!! Thanks again!

So, now that I see you're around, I'm wondering what you think about working this top-down. I was going to knit a swatch this way but, if you can "see" knitting better than I can, you might already have an opinion. I was thinking about writing each row's instructions on a card, then working from the last row to the first....

what's row 4,6,8,10? p over p k over k?
@kadielawrence47098 жыл бұрын
So, if this was knitted in the round, there are no wrong side rows. So would I still knit the knits and purl the purls or the opposite?
@BundleInABasket8 жыл бұрын
Yes, you would knit the knits and purl the purls

To make them in to leg warmers in a chunky yarn add 7 stitches on each side of the heart cable so 34 stitches in total but adjust where needed with different size yarns

What yarn and size needles did you use? I love the way this yarn looks!
@BundleInABasket8 жыл бұрын
Thanks, I can't remember exactly what I used but I think it may have been a UK size chunky or super chunky yarn. For the needles i think I went down a size from what was stated as recommended on the yarn's label so that the stitches were tighter. I find that if you use bigger needles you can't see the pattern well.

Thanks so much for the tips! I'll be sure to post a picture if I end up making this :)
