Heart disease 13, Understanding angioplasty

HELLO DR John,ive just been watching dvds 1 and 13. I found these dvds outstanding,exceptional,very informative and very well presented,i didn't want the dvds to end! Regarding the stents,I believe there is also a DRUG ELUTING STENT,which is polymer coated over the mesh. the drug is slowly released (eluted) overtime to help keep the blockage from recurring,also the drug helps prevent the growth of scar tissue?
