A few months after I lost my 16 yr old daughter, I asked God for a tangible connection between Him, her and I. I started seeing hearts in everything...tree knots, sidewalk cracks, clouds etc. One of the coolest things was spotting heart rocks amongst thousands of beach rocks. I've found hundreds of them. I know God opened my eyes to see these but I never was absolutely certain why He chose hearts. Then, I was looking through my daughter's pics on our PC and there they were...pics she took of things she saw hearts in! 😂❤

We have always loved your heart. Thank you for being brave enough to share your story. It was amazing. I think your brother may have helped you into the woods and into seeing the world around you a little differently, but that's just a 75 year old dolt talking. The fossile was a perfect pick you really showcased the colors. The wire wrap was just what was needed to finish it off. Woof to the pups, hi to the "young'an". See the sun, breathe with the wind, listen for life's whispers and look at everything with wonder every day. ❤❤ Be happy, safe and stay healthy 😷⚒

Absolutely beautiful ornament!! I grew up in Florida and the wekiva national forest was my backyard. While most kids were out playing games and riding bikes, I was running around in the woods, building forts, and just seeing all the wonders that nature had to offer. When I was a teenager, my attention turned away from fort building to reading every book I could get my hands on about wild edible plants and the medicinal properties of plants. This early fascination with the woodland paradise has held true throughout my entire life. I'm 49 now and have never lost the joy, excitement, and the healing qualities, both physical and mental, that only nature has to offer. There have been many times in life when depression has gripped me tightly. I've found the best medicine for this isn't man made. All I need to do is walk into a forest, slip off my shoes, ground myself to the soil, and allow nature to do it's healing!!! Keep rocking on and I look forward to future posts.

Thank you for opening up, sharing your story and being vulnerable to so many people about your tragic loss. It really hit me hard, hearing that you lost your twin brother. It brought huge tears to my eyes I couldn’t hold them back as I also can relate and sympathize with you. I have recently lost my sister in law, January 10, 2023 to depression and mental health. She ended up taking her own life as she struggled everyday but she fought a long battle that I know she can rest now and be at peace. No one else in the family loved to rockhound as much as her and I or attend all the rock and gem shows together. It won’t be the same for me anymore but I cherish all the times we rockhound together. Her and I had planned a trip to Montana May 2023 as we also wanted to find those beautiful agates but will never happen. 😢 I was not going to go but I decided to still go this end of May in her honour as I know she would want me to go and to enjoy Rockhounding adventures but it won’t be the same anymore as it was our thing to do for self-care, escape the world and enjoy the peace with nature. You did such an amazing job on the beautiful piece of ammolite and wire wrapping. You need to give yourself more credit as you are a natural. 😉 Sending you lots of hugs 🤗 and love your way. 🧡 Stay safe and keep on rocking. From Canada 🇨🇦

so sad to hear about your twinbrother. I think that most of us have had sad losses, family and friends that had to go way to early. I have lost many, it is like a void when someone leave us, but, they are not LOST, they are in another dimension and we will go there too, and then we mets again. We go on and on for ever, it is a never ending school to be born. Not only here to Terra, but to another planets too, many of us have done that, we want to learn to be LOVE and LIGHT. That is the purphose. Hugs to you Kim. And, the ornament went out beutiful......lovely with that shine.
