Thanks for watching and for the kind words! This beat is actually hard to get together. The hihat part on 1&a, 2&a... is not the easiest thing to do over that bass drum part. The fills are really fun.

Somebody help! I understand how to record the drums from the recorder that you have but how do you get the music recorded with the drums that you're playing at the same time?

I can get the kick and the hi-hat rhythm but I'm having trouble doing them together. especially through the fills. any suggestions?

That kick/hihat groove is so strange. It took me quite a while to put it together. What worked for me was initially leaving out the left hand on the hihat and getting really solid with just the right hand and kick. I then slowly added the left hand hat stuff back in, but really quiet until i could get it lined up. I think you can leave out the hihat in alll the fills and they will still sound correct. Hopefully that helps.
