drdvs69 Two separate events...Kennedy Center Honors celebrates artists contribution to arts and culture and LZ were honored in 2012. Their induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame was back in 1995.

I guess they were doing Zeppelin before their great albums hit the charts. I saw them in 1977 the third encore they came out and did the best Rock-n-Roll by Zeppelin I have heard to this day.

humbledb4jesus Zep was done the day John Bonham died. Plant has shown integrity throughout all theses years. Page would do it for free to try and relive his past. I don’t think it’s been about $ for Zep. Thank god they didn’t try Tyler. They were right in Ted, Ted is closer to a human than Tyler

Her weight doesn't affect her voice very much at all. What mostly effects the throat is anything harmful to you and your right she is beautiful at whatever weight she is.. It does not effect her presence on stage or how she performs.

Pity the sound isn't better but I realise the problems in this kind of recording, and am glad for this as it is. I hesitate to comment on it because of that, but it seems to have some great moments in it. Led Zepplin gave the song to Haley Reinhart to sing on American Idol in 2011, and she gave a killer performance that earned her a standing ovation. Her live Idol performance is great but also the alternative studio version which is slightly longer and has one or two wee differences in phrasing. Both are really worth a listen for lovers of this song. Haley was brought up on Rock, and it shows in her singing.

@@castromusicfreak The thanks are all due to you. Sometimes you get lucky with where you are i relation to the band and speakers; sometimes you're in a hall with terrible acoustics. I've followed a lot of Haley Reinhart clips of live performances, and have had explanations of problems that sometimes you just canna overcome. Still, you guys do a great job overall bringing these live shows to the rest of us so we can have a taste of what we canna get to see live for ourselves. 👍

+Skeet Er as you put it, 'probably' - yes, and I agree because outperforming LZ is a quite unlikely achievement... but one thing is for sure, they did get a standing ovation from the guys themselves at the kennedy honors in 2012!!!
