Tennessee Whiskey is a song first released in 1981 by David Allan Coe. It is written by two other people. It was made a #1 hit by George Jones in 1983, and back then it had more chords. the modern version is cool, but it's still a cover. a soulful bluesy one, with just 2 chords. i mean it could stand along "I'd rather go blind". A great song with a long history. I am a busker too, playing a DX1, and 2h Country-only sets.
