Heartbroken -We’ve Lost Our Precious Girl

This video is to let everyone know the heartbreaking news that’s we’ve had to have our precious Staffy put to sleep at the grand age of 15
She was an incredible dog, family member and friend
She will be sadly missed by all of us including her tiny best friend Mavis, who is at the moment lost without her

So sorry to hear about Dutch, my heart goes out to you. You'll have wonderful, tresured memories of Dutch, thst will stay with you always. We lost our 17 year old yorkshire terrier last Nov and then our border collier aged 17 this April. We were devastated to loose themboth within 6 months of each other . We had both cremated on their own and have their ashes in seperate oak box with their names Lucy & Aimee. Still get upset talking about them. Sending our love and prayers to you both & family. No words… staffys are sweet…sweet beyond words. Our little man is a rescue staffy, he is scared of his own shadow. His most aggressive trait is nearly breaking the window, then the door, when either I or my wife come home from work. What you’re going through will happen to us… we’ve been in tears throughout this video. Dogs lives are short… as Rob said … so are ours… but a dogs life is way too short. All we can do is try to make them happy and feel loved, when they’re with us… and it shows that’s how Dutch felt.

I know exactly how you are both feeling - it’s awful. I loved my dog Bruno so much. A staffy, he was gorgeous, loving and just the best. Nobody will ever convince me that staffies aren’t the most loving dogs of all. He was four and a half when we lost the poor boy to cancer. It almost finished me. It was so hard we said we would never have another dog, but four months later Rocky came into our lives - another gorgeous staffy - so kind and gentle - I doted on him - he was my best friend. We had him for two years then my wife left me and took him to a different part of the country. I miss him every day.

So sorry for your loss of Dutch I know how it tears you're heart apart we lost our rescue greyhound called Zebedee 4 years ago we had him from a pup too he was 15 when we had to have him pts due to his back legs gave up,he was such a loving gentle boy we sat with him in our home till the vet sent him over rainbow bridge to be out of pain ,we were alone with him for an hour after that smoothing him/talking to him he just looked so at peace,the pet cremation came for him then week later Zebedee was brought back to us,we still miss him terribly & we still expect to see him when we open front door ,your memories of you're dear Dutch will stay with you forever 🫂 xx

How sad. I can clearly see how it is affecting you. We lost our dog 4 years ago today, which we sadly had to put to sleep due to cancer. It's the worst decision I've ever had to make and still affects me to this day. It does get better. I can't say anymore😢
