This song isnt about killing yourself.... its about sacrificing your heart to love & or, it could be about breaking up with someone. Each one takes a lot of emotion and thats what the song is about. Intensity. You have to know what the game Russian Roulette is about, in order to understand what this song is talking about.

cierra janay Most of those evil deeds are 90% propaganda. My father is from USSR and all of my ancestors fought in the great patriotic war(WW2). Germany invaded us, we fought back and got their asses handed to them. You can't blame Soviet Union for their deeds after the war either. USA did worse things than USSR. We are not the one slaughtering our people on the streets, we're not bombing 3rd world countries for oil, we don't experiment on our people and we don't blow up towers to start a war.
@cierrajanay661210 жыл бұрын
Slender Man Actually Russia did worse things than Nazi's did to their own people. YOUR people raped thousands of women who were forced to end up having the kids of Russian soldiers who raped them. Your country had camps just like Germany did that DID experiment on its own and other countries people. Stalin was a twin to Hitler, they both were evil. The U.S. did NOT experiment on people, the only camps we had were after pearl harbor and our camps werent bad at all, people got good food, they got education, they got clothes etc... not like Russian and German camps. Also, the biggest reason for the camps in the U.S. was to keep Asians safe because they began getting lynched and killed because people were scared of them. Blow up towers to start a war? That was a terrorist attack, dont tell me you are one of those radical pathetic conspiracy theorists.... that is a joke. Oh, and your precious country blew a plane out of the sky and killed 200+ innocent people to prove something to Ukraine. Yep, so damn good huh?
@cierrajanay661210 жыл бұрын
Slender Man Yes, well I don't support hypocrites (People who say they are one thing, but dont follow their own advice). I know the U.S. has done bad things, horrible things, but your country is so egotistical, you couldn't see your own wrong-doings no matter how much proof was exposed. You are a Russian, you are merely a follower, like the rest of that damn country. Communists lmfao must suck, but I wouldn't know ;) Pathetic is the fact you cannot disprove anything I said, but I can give you proof your precious country isn't as precious as it seems. Gilded, very much so. Have a lovely day, and also, I will always support Germany, at least they owned up to what they did.
@TheKenny95110 жыл бұрын
cierra janay So you are German? You obviously don't know anything about Russia because Russia supports Germany, we hate nazis but not Germans. Also Russia is sadly no longer communist. It would be fun to read some of your proof how horrible Russia is.

My opinion: I think it’s about being in a bad toxic relationship “she’s terrified but not leaving” and she also mentions “not many get the chance to say goodbye” since a lot of the time the women end up getting killed by the abusive boyfriend and I think what she means by “pass this test” is that most of the time they think that if you stay, he’ll change” and it’s worth the risk because she loves him

This is about abusive relationships. Abuse from someone you trusted and are now afraid, so you must pass the test to free yourself. Many won't have that luck and will die at the hands of abusers. This song came out when I was 11, a year after I started having serious mental problems (in short, I probably have OCD and I started developing it back then). I knew what it was about, but I felt like it reflected my condition. Took me several years to listen to this song without feeling pain. Still, it gets me so much. OCD isn't just checking the stove or washing your hands all the time (things I actually do), it's the bullies in school that keep talking in your head, it's a part of you pointing a gun at yourself. Lots of love to anyone dealing with this. It's hard, but it isn't the end. Trust me.♥ edit: it's 2023 and finally last year I got officially diagnosed with OCD.

Lyrically the song is about a dangerous relationship. There is speculation that its theme might be linked to Rihanna's former, real-life relationship with the singer Chris Brown. When asked about the sound of the album by MTV News, prior to this song's release, Ne-Yo said: "The best and safest way I can say this is that Rihanna has some stuff to say and she's going to say it. And she ain't going to make no apologies for it." Ok...now we know

I think this song could mean different things to different people. I saw it as a metaphor for taking a very serious chance. Personally to me it completely described my feelings when I was involved with a well known "bad boy" in our area (I was 19 at the time, and he was 23 when we met), and by bad boy I mean the police were staking out his house and it was raided numerous times, on the news, ect. He was very respected on the street, obviously not so much anywhere else. So in a way I was playing "Russian Roulette" by being with him, and the line "If you play, you play for keeps" stood out to me..... because that's how it was for us. It was typical "bad boy, good girl". And as crazy as it is.....9 years later we are married with a son. He has turned his life around and has his own business, completely legit. I've graduated college and am getting my masters. But to this day he is still well known in a wide spread area for his rep from the past. Which can be a double edged sword. We are thinking of moving to another state because we do not want our son who is only 3 now to eventually hear people talk about his father and think his dad's "alleged" actions from before he was born is "cool" or something to be proud of. When you're 19 being with the "bad boy" seems exciting. Ladies that does not last for long, Luckily my husband decided to change his ways or I would not have stayed with him. A lot of guys don't , and they will suck you into their world without caring and you could risk getting in trouble as well. My husband (boyfriend at the time) always kept me completely ignorant of what he was up to because he didn't want me to know anything. His crazy way of protecting me I guess but it was obvious by the way people treated him like someone important when we went out (and still do), or the large amounts of money he always had that there was so much more to him that he didn't want me to see. I chose to stay in ignorance even though I wasn't blind or deaf and knew the truth in my heart. Eventually I matured, as did he and I told him it was either his lifestyle or me. He is obviously not a perfect person but I love him.
