Has almost given us with this stitch because of the gap at the end of the row until I found your tutorial. No more gaps. Thank you so much you explain and show how to do the stitch really well. Making a baby blanket. Thanks again

Beautiful stitch, excited to get your pattern. Your teaching manner is very soothing and kind. Easy to learn from your video. I look forward to more videos to come.

Wow! How beautiful, neat and straight edges! Thank you very much. Star stitch is one of my favorite crochet stitches because it's dense but I had difficulty before in narrowing the gaps. Your tutorial helps solve my problem. Now, I won't hesitate using it for my winter hats, neck warmer and even gloves and shawls. Your video and written tutorials are very clear and user-friendly.

Love your teaching style- thanks for slowing down! Also, your modification is KEY. I can't tell you how frustrated I was with the traditional star stitch giving me a wonky edge.

I totally Dig your version of the Star Stitch ❤❤❤! I have a Scripture Afghan crochet pattern book that has the Star Stitch in it (with a bible verse for description with the pattern stitches) For years I've admired the star Stitch but not able to make it look as it looks in my pattern book. Finding your version is such a delight and I'm able to follow your instructions and make the pattern look the way you've got it going!!! Soooo.... I'm adding your pattern to my pre~made GrReat Grandbaby blankets that I'm making ahead of time for when I'm not here on this Earth to be able to make them for when the GrReat Grandbabies come along, I still surprised myself as I'm self-taught learning from these videos and the little bit of knowledge I had from my teenage years 💖 Thank you So Very much for sharing your pattern and THAT beautiful twist at the end of the row with the " Linked half double crochet " stitch. It truly closes that ending stitch for a better and more squared pattern. Bless Be to YOU ❤! 😊

Hi how many would you chain for a baby blanket? Thanks
@HeartHookHome23 күн бұрын
It would depend on the hook and yarn size, but if your gauge was 7 star stitch in 4", then starting with 129 chains should get you a blanket about 36" wide.

Very nice. To me, you are vague though about exactly which stitch to go into at the beginning and ending of the 2nd row. You move quickly and it’s hard to zero in on the precise sts.

Interesting. So you go through the front loop. Everything over seen goes through both.
@HeartHookHome10 ай бұрын
You can definitely do either. I think this helps to create a more definite "right" and "wrong" side to the fabric but either way works and is beautiful.

This stitch seems like a yarn eater but I’m not 100% sure. I just started crocheting so I’m still new !
