Thanks for the video. Can you or do you demonstrate how to finish around the clasp with the slipped stitch edge, as is shown on the knitted pattern. I'm not sure how you get that affect. Many thanks

What if I wanted to line the coin purse ? Would I just go through the yarn and fabric at the same time ? Or should I sew in lining then connect it to kiss lock ?

That is a sweet little purse. I am attempting to try to make a little leather coin purse for my elderly mother. I bought the kiss clamp/frames already but I'm trying to figure out how I will atempt to sew, glue or both on soft leather. If anyone can point me to the right direction it would be greatly appreciated. I really want to this for my mother, she would be happier knowing I made it for her, oppose to just buying one. Thank you in advance and Thank you for taking the time to make this video for all of us. Angel from The Bay (area)

Suggestion: I do find it easier to see what you’re doing in a video with a lighter colored yarn. Interested in your thoughts.😊

This is an older video and I have since started using lighter yarns 😉

Hi. Thanks for this. I have a question about the pattern. What size should the circle be when you finish increasing and are at the 35 stitches? My purse seems too big. I have the same frame you have. I initially tried using a 2mm macrame cord/yarn and small hook. Then I tried with the same yarn and hook and it seems way too big according to the first picture in the pattern after increases are completed. Thanks!

Thank you for this tutorial it was very clear but please can you confirm what thickness the thread is, mine looks quite thin
@HeartHookHome3 жыл бұрын
The yarn is a worsted weight, the thread used to sew the clasp is regular sewing thread.

Thank you for the tutorial. Would a lighter gauge wire work as well?
@HeartHookHome5 жыл бұрын
I'm thinking that may be pretty difficult to use.

I have seen many videos on how to do this. The one thing I can't seem to get any information on is exactly what size of a needle will fit in those holes. I have a few old sewing needles and they are too large to fit through those holes and I can't go out and hunt for needles. I have to be able to tell someone else what size to pick up for me

Just curious about the yarn you're using...it looks shiny..🤔.

Hi Rebecca! I used Dishie cotton yarn from WeCrochet: shareasale.com/r.cfm?b=1435366&u=780171&m=59159&urllink=&afftrack=

Hello I wonder if you can translate subtitles in videos
If the clasp has 46 holes how do you adjust if you only have 36 chains?🤔 Also what size thread are you using to sew?
@HeartHookHome3 жыл бұрын
You don't sew clasp holes per stitch space...but slip the channel of the clasp over the top stitches and using the marked halfway stitch as a guide, securely sew the clasp on. I'm sorry, I don't remember what size the thread was.
@carlabrauer730310 ай бұрын
It would be easier with a light color yarn. Also, it is hard to see the position. I just can’t understand.
