Im confused by Kibler's reaction to an unplayed Doomcaller @ 2:52 Isn't its purpose to give you another potential C'Thun after your first one dies? Druid C'Thun runs enough big threats to potentially run out a Polymorph before a C'thun hits the board so i assume thats what the guy was planning? Is there another factor im not thinking of?

Nah, using it to revive C'Thun is basically what it's for. Of course, you can use it to give +2/+2, but that seems mediocre compared to reviving an old god.

Cottidae but also its common when playing against mage (or shaman) to play the doomcaller because of hex/polymorph on cthun

Maybe because Kibler's deck had more value, it would have been smarter to play it for tempo and try to beat Kibler down as fast as possible

He is probably surprised that the opponent who was ignoring his minions turn after turn and trying to rush down his face did something that looked like a lesser tempo play (enchanted raven + hero power + hold 5 mana) compared to tempoing out a big minion to put more pressure on the board in line with his prior turn's playstyle (playing out an 8 mana 7/9
