A long planned out game of pure control, thinking about every move, sweat building... a couple of RNG rolls at the end decide the entire 15 minute match... sounds like Hearthstone alright.

You can't really complain that such a close game went either way. At the end of the day, there simply has to be one winner.

All card games are heavily reliant on rng. How good your match-up is, what cards you draw, what cards your opponent draws etc. Providing both players are at an equivalent level of skill every game is always going to be decided by rng in one way or another. It's unavoidable in card games.

Except that wasn't what happened that match. Golden Monkey happened to give the player, who's winning condition is deathrattle, the one card that makes the entire deck possible. There's a reason you can't have two N'zoths in a deck, because it would be incredibly, stupidly, imbalanced. Yet in the end RNG gives him the, literal game breaking card, for an effortless win. Sure, all card games have elements of luck and RNG, but Hearthstone is a game that took RNG and made it a core foundation among the most impact full cards.

Kreddi 'There's a reason you can't have two N'zoths in a deck, because it would be incredibly, stupidly, imbalanced.' You don't know how this game is played. Most top tier players would choose NOT to include a second N'zoth, even if they could. It's simply too much of a burden on your hand to have that many potentially dead cards in it. To give you an example: N'zoth rogue was a competitive deck for some time. Rogue effectively has 3 (THREE) N'zoth if they include shadowstep. It's arguably even better than that because shadowstep has added flexibility and makes the N'zoth an 8 mana card. But guess what happened? Most N'zoth rogues did not add a shadowstep and for the few decks that did, most were forced to use it early game to not die to aggro. And again: This was an incredibly close game. It's not like the other player stole a perfect game because of a single coin toss.

He answered that at the beginning of his Dragon Paladin video. Each has their own advantages, but which is strongest is TBD. Paladin has strong class cards and strong synergy cards with dragons, Warrior has the best single target removal to push to late game where dragons can get their value, and priest of course can heal up their big dragons and keep them on the board.

Priest is probably the weakest of the 3 since its class cards generally aren't that good, it also has the weakest late game of the 3 since its class legendaries suck dick. Paladin struggles with the lack of a good 2 drop on curve and a lack of 4 drops. Warrior is prob still the best since the champion, war axe, gromm and its single target removals are so broken

+Oda Swifteye Cho is not exactly a fighter.. and if he was, he would probably be a monk imo. Chen is a monk, not a warrior, and I actually do think he would be a great addition to HS because what HS is missing the DK class and the monk class. Shado-pan are mostly rogues and warriors, yes.

The difficulty with PM is that the extra cards can be utterly useless (e.g. Nat Darkfisher), and they sometimes prevent you from getting removal when you need it because you have a larger pool to draw from. I'm sure you could win some games with him - maybe by getting Antonidas or something - but in terms of consistency, which control decks need, he isn't great.

You can't get legendaries from other classes unfortunately, so no crazy combos. Malchezar is really only good in fatigue decks where the 5 extra cards will matter. Elise will usually be better for random legendaries.

Possibly,but new ones could pop up, especially if some new dragon synergy gets added in the next expansion. Corruptor and Twilight guardian are the big losses for all dragon decks, so we'll have to see if something comes up to possibly replace them, or if they'll be a minor synergy tribe for a while again.

Personally, i took out an acolyte to very various alternatives : a shield slam, a tanky chillmaw, a berserker, a korkron... you can play a lot around those decks ;) so far i think shield slam is the best choice : same function, lower cost, works well with axe (3+2=5), and exec activator. I'm still pondering if i prefer this deck or aggro dragon, but in the current meta this deck performs better.
