i enjoyed kibler in mtg and still enjoy him to this day he always has the most enjoyable matches to watch and learn.
@umbumlum4 жыл бұрын
I started watching because his matches were enjoyable. Plus learn cards I don't have, to learn what others may play with. #CauseFTPlifestruggles . After about 5 weeks I notice something about the play style and then he mentioned MTG. It clicked my friends from my MTG days used to follow and copy his play style. It has been more than 10 years since those days so think I should get a small pardon on my memory lapse. Also I was always the more control and combo player. Loved 2 Land Belcher when it first saw play in type 1 (vintage) I destroyed hopes and dreams! I started playing hearthstone only because I was starting to miss playing MTG. Then fining Kibler's connection spawned an even bigger want to play. Will never commit to the ol' cardboard crack again though. Sold my collection to pay off student loans lol. Too bad though got hosed on it. Plus now some would be quadruple the price I sold at....ugh. Hearthstone as been a good band-aid though. Thank you Kibler for igniting the ol' spark again. Keep having fun playing and posting. Never know perhaps someday I can get to face off against you! :)

umbumlum cool story man! Mine is similar as to why i started playing some Hearthstone, coming from MTG... but i was so young when i got to play in MTG tournaments i may have seen Kibler at an origins convention and not have even known it at the time... however.. i was forced out of MTG, when my collection burned with my house as a teen... one of my friends accidentally burned my moms house down, and i lived with her of course.. but i had so much of her and my own money invested in my collection, once i lost it all in a moments notice, i knew i could never go back.. and wouldnt have the money to.. years passed.. i almost talked myself into going back after high school once i started working.. but then i heard rumblings at work of a new digital card game being made by blizzard.. at this time ‘World of Warcraft’ had taken over that gaming addiction that MTG did in my pre-teen/teen years, so once it did come out, i had to check it out.. i wasnt on board at first.. then i started seeing how they were selling packs in game, and that it was almost literally the same as buying some magic boosters, except all on my phone.. and i could always have my collection with me in my pocket.. once that clicked, i was all in... and still am.. now, if my house gets burned down ever again.. i will never lose my Hearthstone collection.. as its hosted on a Blizzard server.. even if my phone burns up with it.. teehee!
