It was in a lot of decks, you could only think that if you've forgotten every meta that isn't cubelock vs. kingsbane vs. call to arms. Big taunts are good, drawing three cards is really good and drawing specific cards you wanted to put in your deck anyway is amazing.

I think Tess Greymane is the first card we've ever seen that gets worse the more people are running it. EG: More people running Tess means they're playing Rogue, playing against Rogue makes Tess useless.

Goompro Gameplay you don't play her in controll warlock. Controll warlock on turn 7 has always full hand and in addition you don't want to draw voidlords you tant to cheat them out and there is not a single rush minion worth playing in CW and list of possible controll warlock cards has like 50 cards after this expandion so I don't thing it's ever good enought

A few of the rush cards, especially the 6-2 or 6-3 rush work with minion mage, as the 6-2 with rush /4mana is basically a control fireball that cant go through taunts.

Arugal copies of minions can also be cost reduced by leyline manipulator. Play book with Arugal draw apprentice, reduce it to 0. Mby reduce archmage antonidas to 5 with a bit of luck.

What Kripp din't mention about Countess is that it says "cards", not "minions". It can draw you stuff like spirit lash, spectral cutlass, blood razor, kingsbane. Shit, if anything, it can draw TWO obsidian statues: one for lifesteal and one for deathrattle.

In mtg, Mitotic Slime costs 5 while being the essentially same card as splitting festeroot. Anyone got any ideas why 2 creatures would be THAT differently costed despite doing the exact same? I know why boardclears, spot removal and drawing is so different, but not creatures with that design. Exile being more prominent in mtg i guess? 3 mana though?

I'm not sure if Blizzard has confirmed this or not, but I belive that the whole RoguevRogue with Tess Greymane won't be na issue . It didn't used to be an issue with Ethereal Peddler and than they errated it, so it's even more confusing.

i think it should gain more based on which totem it eats, 0/3 card draw just 1:1 but like the 1/1 totem gives 2/2 is fine, but 0/2 taunt gives 0/2 and taunt, chip its cost down one, and the others spell power/healing etc, then its a fair card to play with one totem up.

I just thought about something. Tess greymane could be secretly OP. Because say for example you get a DK card from another class(so you’re officially a different class other than rogue) so all the rogue cards you played previous will be played again all at once. So say you played a vanish and an evasion secret plus a bunch of damage dealing cards like sinister strike and eviserate. So now the only targetable thing is your opponents face and all of the damage is going there. That’s really high rolly but it will happen. Lol

I feel like you glossed over bonfire elemental abit, it doesn't have crazy effects like servant but it keeps the chain going and it has good stats, playing elementals sometimes you find the only way to keep the chain going is to play firefly but with bonfire you just play it without the effect and get a good minion without losing too much like you would playing blazecaller or something

Festerroot is not 1 12\12 worth of stats, you cannot add the attack as they will not be on the board together. It's a 4\12

- I really hope Kripp is wrong about Countess Ashmore, I get his point with Curator having *Taunt* , but the card that it could draw sucked, except the *Dragon* which had all a lot of good Dragons in Neutrals(Primordial Drake, Bone Drake, Malygos at some point, ...) because not all class had a good *Murloc* or a *Beast* . - Ashmore draws more utility cards than Curator; *~* This could draw _Rotten Applebaum_ (the new card 5 mana 4/5 - *Taunt* - *Deathrattle* : restore 4 HP to your Hero), *~* However there are no good *Lifesteal* cards (except Spirit Lash, Obsidian Statue and Amythest Spellstone for now) we have to see the rest of the expansion to know if *Lifesteal* is worth it, *~* For *Rush* , the _Swift Messenger_ is good enough imo - Ashmore has more stats but it could draw 3 cards for 1 more mana compared to Curator which is 2 more mana.

Countless Ashmore is a better Ancient of Lore Pre-nerf, not to mention the draws it has is better than Curator(especially since people often intentionally put beasts in their deck to get the double draw)

Sap. Azure Drake(wild). Sprint. Assassin's Blade. Blink Fox. Argent Commander. Anything that generates value and doesn't take too long to play. If you're going to run sprint, you might need preparation too. Tempo rogue will be pretty interesting to play next week, but we'll have to see if it's going to work. From what I know, Shaman and Elemental Mage is going to be annoyingly strong with all their card draw. Priest, Warlock and Kingsblade Rogue will stay strong too.

Countess Ashmore is quite a bit better than Kripp said. It says draw a CARD, with lifesteal or rush or whatever. That means *any card that has those three keywords* are drawn, NOT just minions. So, in a mage control deck, Countess will pull the Jains Deathknight. That is better than Curator in some cases, but not all. I’m not saying Countess Ashmore is better than the Curator, it’s probably worse, but it is a replacement.

Nope. Chromaggus copied every card you drew, Arugal only copies the minions. But I still am really glad to see such an effect on a 2-Mana-card instead of an 8-Mana-card for a change :D
