Basically Reno Jackson impacted the meta in such a way that a deck has to either be the most grindy control possible, a full-hp OTK (where Reno is irrelevant) or a ridiculously aggro deck that kills you BEFORE 6 (or that kills you despite a full heal on turn 6, which has happened to me a few times). And despite this...the game is more enjoyable than before. That's says a lot about the previous meta, doesn't it?

+3dTank Except the chance you draw Reno by turn 6, even tossing your whole hand for the mulligan, is less than half. When you go second, you have a 50% chance of drawing him by 8-9 cards after your initial hand, while if you go first, it's 9-10. Also, Reno isn't great against board value decks. Even if you do drop him turn 6 (or 7, or 8), many decks (Flood Zoo, Midrange Paladin being good ones of the top of my head) can clear Reno for mostly free, then proceed to beat your face for 15-20 with the rest of their board. Reno's good against face decks, or if you can follow it up by regaining control.

+3dTank although you have to see that Reno is actually a huge commitment. It's actually surprisingly hard to run many common decks with Reno unless you modify them like this.

Oh, what a crazy day it's been at the bistro on 18th Avenue. You should come and visit, a marvellous place. Today, they were serving an Astral Communion Druid with Deathwing, delicious. For dessert they had a Dragon Paladin with a four crystal discount, courtesy of Bronzebeard and a Dragon Consort. Instead of broth, they served an Archmage Freeze dish, with a side of infinite fireballs that one douche cast at his own minions, until he had no more minions except for Antonidas, so he finally came to fireballing me. It had a Reno (merci au Trump pour cette tragedie). But best of all, was the Pally that had attempted to outwit me with a Silent Knight; his dreams never came to fruition. O' this Avenue, not even the Murlocs have an accurate description for it.

I enjoyed the concede fest from the face huntards. Glad to see the dying out of a terrible era of Hearthstone, a long harsh era it was. Hopefully Reno is included in even more decks as the game progresses, any hunter deck without a Highmane in it will be laughed at and ostracized for their blasphemy. "We're gonna be rich"!

While I love watching face hunters concede at the sight of Reno, it's gutting when you lose to him. In lower ranks, it can even be really hard to identify a Reno deck, making it harder to plan around.

I think you're very wrong in your spectral knight assesment it's amazing to get value trades with for the reason that you said he's aggro he's amazing at trading up multiple times because of his 4/6 body and on top of that the enemy cant use a cheap removal to get rid of the last 1-3 hp making it almost always a value trading card.

You cannot go above 10 mana. If he had played the Innervate first, it would have done nothing. He played Reno to go below 10 mana, which then allowed him to gain 2 mana from the Innervate.

Watching the plays Trump's opponents make, the first thought in my head is, "Don't Trump's opponents even care that they could be wrecked by a counter-play/retaliation?" I see very few minion vs. minion exchanges, and am just baffled. When it came to the Paladin with that murloc knight nonsense, I really thought Trump was going to lose that one. Was rooting for Trump the entire time, I so despise the murloc knight. But given Blizzard's track record of rarely (if ever) going back and tweaking/nerfing/changing cards, I doubt the murloc knight will go away anytime soon. With the new cards coming out of the adventure mode being so murloc-centric, I wonder if Blizzard has any idea the kind of havoc that creative players will make...

Uhmmm... Murloc Knight isn't even overpowered. It is only considered a good card because there are so many good Murlocs. After the 3rd wing of LoE will be released, Murloc Knight will be even worse because of the Murloc Tiny Fyn and Mrrgglton, being Murlocs with poor stats. Murloc Knight isn't even close to the power level of Shielded Minibot and Muster for Battle, especially when you keep getting 2/1s, so I didn't ever think it would require a nerf.

Only one taunt that can easily be silenced, no Healbot, no Refreshment Vendor, an Ice Block that can be stolen... Very poor Reno deck, in my opinion. Reno doesn't automatically save you - until he comes, you must be able to stall or aggressively look for him. It feels weird to say this, but Trump - who I deeply respect - weirdly hasn't found a way to play Reno yet. Pretty much every other famous streamer that I've seen - Savjz, Strifecro, Kibler etc - has played him very well, but apparently not Tramp.
