+Dmitry Shap Well, no, you have to start a speedrun from the beginning of the game (assuming that's what you're talking about, it's not entirely clear). Runners often keep track of a "sum of best" time which is a hypothetical record derived from their best sections but those are never considered actual records, you always need to complete a run as a single run in one sitting. So to relate that back to Trump the parallel would be that he needs to keep running the full challenge until he beats it, starting over it fine but omitting runs that occur in the middle of the challenge is pretending your sum of best is an actual time.

The last 3 arena runs, while relatively unsuccessful, were very educational regarding the difficulty of arena these days. There's a far higher amount of variance in number of wins good players can get than in "the olden days." If the challenge was done even just 6 months ago, I believe Trump would have fared far better.

+Colin Huth you have to get a little lucky, but I've also been getting a better grip on the fact that prioritizing face has been becoming better and better. Today I had a warrior deck that went 12 mainly on the strength of arcanite reaper and strangletorn tiger generally punching in for 15 and most opponents not being able to stem the bleeding in time. brawl helped but still.

+BlueRiging Except with how heavy his curve was, he's likely to be dead before he starts topdecking. 4 2-drops, one of which is a spell, he needed the innervate to patch up his early game and push out a minion on 2. Arena's much more tempo based than value based nowadays, if you lose the tempo game, you're probably dead.

That priest reminded me of a trend I've noticed recently, where players have been saying, "Thanks" after beating me. I guess people are too into being assholes to use, "Well played" anymore. I mean, I use, "Sorry" when I beat a face deck, but that's because they don't deserve non-sarcastic pleasantries.

Trump, you are missing the entire point of the challenge. It is to see if you can in a single ten run block win 100 games. That is different from what you purposed, which just asks you to at some point average ten wins across ten games. On the other hand in the actual challenge you would have to drop all the other runs and start over, not just cut off a bad beginning.

Something tells me Trump is going to force people who made the initial challenge to change the rules to "How many wins you can get in 10 arena runs" instead of actually setting a bar of "Get 100 wins." Least then people might actually be honest about it. I think trump's style of arena (picking value and minions that are usually considered strong) is no longer working in this current meta. It's more about tempo, and sometimes really bad cards in terms of value can actually allow you to gain a decent enough tempo advantage to edge him out in damage.

Legendaries aren't vere common. It took me over 10 drafts to get my first legendary in arena. But the legendaries aren't often better than strong commons anyway so you don't need them mist of the time.
