I was kind of hoping to see Trump make an actual viable Murlock deck. Was disappointed with this as I have been looking to build a viable Murlock Shaman deck. Still fun to watch though

Shaman Murloc deck is somewhat viable, not really because of the new murloc cards but mostly because of crackle giving shaman more burn damage and jeeves helping with the draw. You pretty much just go face as much as you can before you get wiped and finishing up with lightning bolt/crackle/lava burst. Having a 5 health murloc also help a bit since they have to deal with it before wiping or else you draw tons of cards. Neptulon however is too slow for this kind of hyper aggro deck in my opinion.

I love how in that last game Trump doesn't use either lightning storm despite it probably being the last chance to use one effectively and instead decides to just shredder/totem and pass. Instead he loses them both to the board and then is defenseless against Dr.Boom, and big surprise dies with both in his hand.

26:20 Can someone explain why he didn't lightning storm? He had the mana, he had two copies of the card, and while killing 2 already damaged minions isn't exactly the most exciting lightning storm ever, it protects his shredder. I can't see why he would deem it not worthwhile. When did he expect the priest to be dropping a lot of low health cards in the future? What am I missing?

its overload which is a shaman thing, like with lightning storm, 3 mana to deal 3-4 dmg is to good, so you have overload 2 where you cant use 2 mana next turn

It's a mechanic within the Shaman class called "Overload" which allows a Shaman player to use incredibly "overpowered" cards for cheaper amounts of mana, at the price of losing x amount of mana next turn. Hope this helps. :)

Zombie Chow on opponents side died. And yes, if you have soul priest you are still healed by opponents card effects. Soul priest only affects your own healing effects.

It's currently impossible to build competetive shaman deck without 2xAzure Drakes. Mana Tide totem just doesn't work in the current meta - it's a 2 for one at the very best. And on average it's a "cycle a card at the end of your turn and heal 3 to hero for 3 mana". I would love, if actual murloc shaman deck with the new Cult Master-type murloc for card draw, Neptulon for end-game could work. But I don't think it's possible.

Well that's what creates multiple good decks, having so many good cards that you can't fit them all in one deck. I think it's a good problem to have and I think the 30 card decks are fine. Of course, this is just my opinion, not saying you're wrong or anything.

Well I think one of the most important points is that it is more unlikely to draw a specific card when you have more cards in your deck. That would change the complete game balance and would turn into a game which is even more based on RNG. Adding more cards wouldn't really fulfill your wish of using more of the cards you like because it makes it more unlikely to get them on your hand. You almost never play all of your 30 cards and you wouldn't play 35-40 cards for sure. You would need more hp on your hero and basically it would just change the whole game. Excuse my bad english, im working on it ;)
