thanks for featuring this deck! i hadn't messed with my c'thun druid since about day 2 of wotog and i have crafted a few more legendaries since then. almost had this entire list (no fandral or harrison). replaced with a 2nd amber-weaver and an ooze. replaced one idol with a beckoner. was going to replace both idols, but idol is a nice filler and can fetch some good spells when you need them. might even put 2nd one back in since i never seem to mulligan into beckoner. kept nourish. drawing 3 on turn 5 if you have no other option is still pretty good. have had c'thun in hand on time in just about every game so far :)

I started a new account when Old Gods came out, got the 13 packs and got a Fandral so I decided to go with a C'thun druid deck. I did well with it, reaching past rank 8 last month. I have to say that one of the most limiting factors when deciding what to play as a new free to play account is having no access to adventure cards. No raven idol or brann for me, among other cards for other classes (shaman's 1/3 card for example).. And saving for it not only is a huge commitment, it is also not worth it since it would go out of standard some time in the future. I think that being able to craft them should be an option to be honest. But that is my opinion.

Although I can't disagree with the idea of being able to craft them, since having more options is always a good thing, I will also say that farming for the adventures seems way faster and more effective than just using the same gold to buy packs. Buying the adventures should always be your first goal and doesn't take too long compared to how much you're going to use those cards before they rotate out, and even when that happens, they don't become useless but just turn into a lot of dust. At least that's the advise I would personally give to a new player.

As a new player, spending 2800 gold on packs will got many more cards than in adventures which is really tempting since they lack cards. I would at least argue that we need to be able to purchase any wing we want in the adventure after release so we don't have to grind through wings that have no useful cards to us.

Mahado yeah, choosing wings in any order would also be nice. If we look at LoE for example, 2800 gold nets you 4 legendaries that are used very often +1 that's a bit useless, a couple of cards and, let's not forget! A couple hours of quite enjoyable pve content. The same packs we can say will give you 2 completely random legendaries and a lot of cards of very broad usefulness. Obviously everyone chooses what he wants and feels it's better, I'm annoying you just because I REALLY want you to at least think about it and maybe even change your mind ;)

I don't think it's that big of a deal. You can save up 700 gold in less than 2 weeks, so you can get the entire LOE in like 2 months, tops. Blackrock has 1 more wing, but I think it's not as important as LOE, unless you want to play dragon decks (or tempo mage, I guess.)

Even without Veklor, Brann, Sylvanas, etc. this deck still wrecks rank 10-20. I played a version of Cthun Druid that used Bog Creepers instead of Sylvanas and Veklor, and I had no trouble getting to rank 8 in a couple days.

You should probably drop the elder for another weaver. Disciple, chosen and arakkoa are good on their own if you take away the C'Thun buffs. Elder is just a 3/4. With weaver, though, it is likely that by the time you draw it, your C'Thun is big enough, and you have a 4 4/10.

Not really, compared to some decks, with the cheaper version trump mentioned, the cards are mostly commons and rares with the exception of Twin Emperor Vek'lor

Arguably, ooze is actually better. All harrison is there for is weapon removal. And having its cost lowered is great. The draw doesn't matter too much hete since there's raven idol and nourish for draw

6/6 with this deck. I made one change by replacing Harrison Jones with Crazed Worshipper. Quest, Rank... Profit. Only drawback, playing this deck runs dull pretty quickly. Still, if that's your only complaint, you're pretty privileged indeed.

If you're going to play a c'thun deck it can't be done. Sorry. You could try bog creeper, but twin emperor is one of the best reasons to play c'thun decks.

I don't think trump did a very good job of explaining slow play vs fast play. in reality, the main reason why you would want to make slow play first and then fast plays later is that it helps you stabilise. fast answers only deal with the board wjthout putting you ahead (generally). by making slow plays first, you get to start trading down with efficient minions which wouldn't otherwise be possible since slow minions don't normally have an immediate effect on board.

Bramborák Novák Well... it usually just dies to removal. And for that much mana you want a minion to do something more than buff something you might even not play. That's the reason why Deathwing Dragonlord is not beeing played... and Aviana... and a few other big legendary minions.

I had just started the game and I saved up all my decks for 1 big opening from the achievements, I also had 100 gold after I opened all of my packs so I decided to open one of the new packs with it. I got this legendary and I didn't even realize I until I watched a pack opening and they got a legend which had the same brown crystal thing on it and I kinda shit myself

No, Klaxxi and Twin Emperor are the only reasons to play a C'Thun druid deck.C'Thun win condition is so unreliable that it is usually just an enabler for the actually good cards. In my C'Thun Druid I run just enough buffs to consistently get 10/10 C'Thun and get in other good ramp druid cards like Ancient of War and Mire Keeper.
